Hi Guys-

Attempting to use HGB to manage manual trades and close on opposite signal but not getting any closes. Can I drag HGB on an already open trade or does the trade have to open with HGB running? I've tried it both ways with no luck.

Per the manual the only setting i modified in the inputs is setting UseForTradeManagementOnly to true. There is some mention of setting a magic number but not sure how to set that if that's the issue.

Additionally HGI version matches.

IF you're US- could be FIFO preventing any closes

Yes in US but only have 1 trade open..

What comment did you give the manual trade? If any.....

There's your reason why HGB doesn't manages your trades.
HGB uses socalled "comments" to differentiate between the different type of trades.

Manually you can enter the comment in the comment-field with Empty4.

See the empty field below the value-fields.

Ahhh ok, so I need to enter, for example, "Trend trade" in the comment area on Empty4 so it matches HGB?

You need to enter EXACTLY what HGB has in the corresponding field, with capitols etc.

Easiest is to change the ones in HGB into something simple and use that when entering orders, one letter or even a number.
Also, the magic# in HGB needs to match your orders, '0' will accept manual trades.
