It seems this bot has some potential (its more a feeling ...

), but the only nasty behavior is the jumping back into the SL after the BO - I dislike that much !
Choosing to high numbers for the calculation of the sell/buy BO's means fewer trades but perhaps the range is to big and the BO/momentum is to weak, so the price drops back and we get a looser. The numbers are to small - the range ist tight, we'll get more trades but more loosers anyway. Hmmm - some kind of MM could help ? BE, trailing, JSL and so on ... ? Atm I dont have a clearer pic about an appropriate setfile for this bot ...

OOTB the new version uses a jumping stop for moving the SL in win, that is why the EA has too a MaxClose value new for taking better the real good trades in trend(means if win is bigger as the Maxclosevalue the trade will not be closed in the following weeks automaticly, but only if Sl in win or TP is crossed. First ones had jumping Sl functions and BE deactivated, just take a look at the setting-inputs and re-read the updated first post), if anything should be not clear in the user inputs please ask...

At the moment i have 4 open orders, the sls add to 817€ at risk, this risk should be considered by people who see the good results at my account, with my risk settings it could be possible anytime to lose such an amount of money if all orders go to sl before the JSl starts.

Any good new here ? It seems testing this bot is hard hard job ! This weekly trader cant show his possibilities in a quick run. So I'm not sure about prolonging testing. How could we find an appropriate setfile or settings at least near to optimal ones ?

As I see - Ace81's acc is nearly dead, and xilef's ? Dont look really good like mine.

the problem is that probably the selection of the pairs is the key and should be adapted regulary, as the strategy will not work with all fases of trending..
Too it is a complex thingy, like you wrote, to find a profitable setting, probably it would be needed to test some settings parallel over a longer time to have some useful input..

That's all right ! But I haven't a clue how to achieve any really useful settings. Perhaps I have to abandon it and try other bots I have on my radar or in testing already ... their are enough of them released ....
I know someone is trading this strategy manual successful, so its only a question of the right, hard to find setfile and there is absolutly no offense at the bot itself !

Altough I thought already to stop testing of this bot, I could see now, that this baby has benefits ... perhaps. So it is running actually in my "portfolio" and I would like to tweak the settings furthermore.

I have plea to you.
Could you plz add the TP basket function like in the MPTM (close at a number of bucks, pips, percent balance ... or so) ?

AND (important): The EA has to stop all trading for the current week and restart trading only from the following week. So all positons will be closed after reaching the TP, no reopening of trades until friday. The purpose: Get a distinct TP for one week, 3 ... 5 % or so and dont risk loosers destroying the gains made.

Ah great minds think alike as I too have had good success with FirstStrike and was about to start some demo's using MPTM. I also think the current week stop & start will really help with the profitability

Just hoping that Tommaso has the time to work his coding genius
