I just started running a test of G+ on GBPUSD and EURUSD. In the 5+ hours since the markets opened, I've gotten 10 of these errors on EURUSD. Nothing on GBPUSD, no successful orders or positions.

I searched here and elsewhere and didn't find much on this error message. One guy claimed it was because the crim doesn't support the symbol, but I'm pretty sure PFG supports EURUSD. Other people e.g. http://forum.mql4.com/20679 suggested it had to do with excessive slippage causing the market to exceed the order price. That also seems unlikely, since I looked at a M1 chart of the times when the errors happened, and many of those times were in very quiet sideways periods.

I've got open orders on a PFG demo - just tried to close them and no response from dealer until "Off quotes" message. Maybe a problem at their end?

No doubt it is a broker issue. I do not have this problem on a demo. I guess you are on a live account.

No, it's a demo. No errors so far today, but no orders or positions either.

WOW. this thing is on fire. with acostafulano's tip of using 15 box length my demo *in one day* has gone from $1000 to $2036, with -$41 floating open trade. 0.1 fixed lots, 20 pairs, 15m timeframe. we'll see how it holds up over this week

Yes. PFG apparently does that, since you select "PFG-Demo" or "PFG-Real" as the server when you log on.

PFG are reputed by reliable sources (e.g. Craig at FXAW) to be among the best crims, but that doesn't guarantee their demo server isn't wonky. I haven't seen similar problems with them before. I've run several test EAs on demo accounts but not a *huge* number...

I haven't seen any errors since this morning. Within the last hour Gertje has opened two positions in one of the two charts it's running on. Maybe it was just a transient hiccup in PFG's servers.
