I noticed on D1 trading that sometimes signals print on the previous candle, and therefore NOT generate alerts. This happens mainly just after rollover, when another complete bar is taken into the calculations.ronemshoff » Sat Jan 31, 2015 6:18 pm wrote:
that is correct. Why dont you run your own test using 16.02 as i did. You should see many symbols on a M30 chart or lower time frame. Then carefully go through the experts file and write down the alert in that file, noting the type of alert and corresponding symbol, then check your chart to see if all of those symbols are on the chart at the proper place and times. You will probably find that they are. then look at the chart and note any symbols that are on the chart and are not in the experts file. You will probably find about 15% are on the chart but are not in the experts log. That was my finding. Be sure you dont do anything of the many actions that will re-initialize your chart. If you do you will get an entirely different chart and symbol placement. that is why many are pulling their hair out. you will also find it benificial to change the various symbol colors around so when it prints over lapping symbols they show up. red small arrows for example will not show on red big arrows when they print at the same time and place. rare but they do. use a black background chart, white bars only (not candles) big yellow down, big turquois up arrows, and the rest default. makes for easy chart read. ron
Could this be what is causing your "issue"?

there will only be alerts for the actual open candle, this was in all versions so coded, for avoiding to have more time alerts...Gertje » Sun Feb 01, 2015 10:23 am wrote:I noticed on D1 trading that sometimes signals print on the previous candle, and therefore NOT generate alerts. If signals can appear on the previous candle and therefore get no alert on the current candle we are most likely to miss a trading opportunity.
This is a problem especially if trading on the higher timeframes like the Daily. IMHO.

this will mostly happen with the roll-over, so you should in this time control your charts...fullaforex » Sun Feb 01, 2015 10:50 am wrote:milanese » Sun Feb 01, 2015 7:26 pm wrote: there will only be alerts for the actual open candle, this was in all versions so coded, for avoiding to have more time alerts...

I don't know what you mean by "control your charts", but roll-over for me is at 4am in the morning!milanese » Sun Feb 01, 2015 7:39 pm wrote: this will mostly happen with the roll-over, so you should in this time control your charts...

so control later.. the indicator can not avoid that you need to take a look more time a day to control your charts and decide what you want to do.. trading needs time...fullaforex » Sun Feb 01, 2015 1:48 pm wrote:I don't know what you mean by "control your charts", but roll-over for me is at 4am in the morning!milanese » Sun Feb 01, 2015 7:39 pm wrote: this will mostly happen with the roll-over, so you should in this time control your charts...

Actually it is very easy to spot using the HGI-matrix. Just check every chart that has a trend or wave symbol on the current or previous bar. Takes 5 minutes max. Leave all charts running and one can see where on the bar the signal printed and then decide wether you want to take the trade or not.
If your rollover is at 4:00 then you should be able to check during the quit Asian session.
Or put HGB on at night to enter on trends only. (HGB also misses these yesterday's bar trades)

xrismak are you mainly trading off the M15??
I trade all Time frames from the M15 right up to the H4 Time frame, the M15 Time frame trades for me are only for the Quick in and out Support and Resistance 5- 10 pip scalp.

How's HGI working for you on that timeframe?
I was leaving it on my charts overnight for a few days and found there were times it would print a LOT of wavy signals all over each other. I'm gonna test it out for another 2 or 3 days but set it so only trend signals show
