since last week I am trading SBB (TF 4H) live. I have the problem that every time the trades were closed the ea stuck. I have to restart the platform and after that it trades immediately. I use Steve's setfile which he published 2 or 3 weeks ago. This setfile is attached. The only parms I changed are "trading time" and "ECN=true".
The same problem I have in the demo account with the same setfile.

Have you read Holy Graily Bob's user guide? There is a section in it about platform problems, so worth having a look even if you are not using HGB.

I am having a problem with using SBB with individual pairs as a basket. Basically, I trade 13 pairs with a TP & SL value and set number of trades to constitute a basket as 1 and the Basket TP as a multiple per trade so that it will either take the individual profit or if there are many open trades in the basket, it may take the Basket take profit.
Everything works as it should except for ANY JPY Trade.. trouble is, that it is a bit random. On some JPY Trades it will correctly come out at the TP but on most, it will come out at around 10% of the TP set.
All of the JPY trades that go wrong all show the TP in Green in the terminal window and the pips are well below what they should be.
I get a run of JPY trades all taking , for example, £0.82p and then one taking £8 plus. Then it may change to a run of £1.12.. or even as low as £0.54.
I can't understand why the NON JPY trades don't have this problem.
The only thing I can think of is that the non JPY trades tend to be 5 decimal places and all the JPY Trades are 3 decimal places..
I hope that someone can help. If it means a code change then I am happy to change it if pointed in the right direction. I have seen that the TP is converted into a pips value.
If anyone is interested I have solved this problem now
The code that works out the pip value factor by placing them in a pipfactor array and pipvalue array only has "JPY" as the Forex entry and a value of 100 as the divisor.
However, the routine PFactor() that runs down this array uses symbol eg EURJPY which is never found and so returns a pipfactor of 10000 and hence my trades on any JPY pair are 10% of what the take profit should be.
The quick & dirty fix is to just add all the full name JPY pairs and 100 in the factor part
Or, in the Pfactor() routine substring (symbol,3,3) if the find fails and re check the array as the index will be in the same position
Hi I am having a BB240 Secrete Indi Expired on my charts, im not sure if this is supposed to happen. I have checked both SSB and Bob's thread and the indi is 240.V.11_Buy.Sell.Now.Arlert. and SSB is taking trades it would be nice to see the arrows though
Check the threads here - folks sailed away to the HGB an d other, newer toys ... I think you wont find much support for this bot ....
