i have the Dasboard and mptm from page 1 setup on 2 charts but dont understand how to setup the 2004 tpl's
with them

Not trying to be nasty to you but .....
To be brutally honest you need to be asking this type of question in one of the beginners threads.

Until you understand the concept of templates etc. and preferably know Empty4 backwards, you have very little hope of getting these advanced EAs working.

As this is about a Dashboard for Pipsmasher and not hgi which is mainly the noon questions it seemed to me this was where to ask

i have read post 1 and i have no problem setting the dashboard and mtpm on charts

i know how to put tpl on charts but what makes me think something is wrong is if i add tpl to either chart that has the dashboard or mtpm on then nothing works so that cant be right

but i understand i wont bother trying to get help i can stick with pipsmasher for now

When you downloaded the dashboard indi and the EA did it change the name? It should start with an apostrophe "!".

If you download with Chrome (not sure about other browsers) it will replace that "!" with "%21". The names must be exactly the same, so you would need to replace the %21 with ! and have exactly the correct number of spaces etc.

This is the only thing I can think of that might help.

Hi Guys,

Here are a few ideas:

- In PP dashboard, in the input ThePairs, try to limit the pairs to 1 pair, then, if it is working, add pairs one after the other to see how many pairs your platform can handle....

Okay I got it working..

I closed everything running on my VPS (2700 Mb Ram, 2VCPU 50GBHD), updated Windows 2012 server, restarted it and installed a new GP demo.

My first try was again a normal run with putting the Pip Dash indy into a chart (of course after the script for forceloadHistoricaldata etc), I did this since I had an older Pip Dash running without problems, and thought it should have enough RAM etc to be able to run it now. Again it hang with the following indication of the Task manager:

After an restart of the VPS, and a new reinstall of the Crap Empty4 platform, etc., I tried it with just one pair and the UpdateEveryXseconds change to 5 sec, and it was working, within 3 seconds. I did it again with now 10 pairs and had the normal indication within a few seconds.

Again I tried it with now 20 pairs and it froze and never came out of it (over 2 hours and counting..)
I am not sure why my older Pip Dash could run with all the OOTB pairs, but it looks that my VPS can run only a limited amount of pairs with this demo now. I hope this helps..

I am not trying to be rude or nasty but when I do not see in a message any word like: hello, hi, thanks, please, good, nice, like, help, yes… I feel a bit irritated. Haaa damnn cognitive factors

I am just trying to keep this thread warm, cordial, that’s it.

Concerning your question, I don’t have the problem here, I just tried to simulate your problem but nothing.

I will add Dave's advice in post 1 as I know some users already have the issue. Thanks Dave.

I really don’t see why this version 1.04 is not working on your platform and why 1.02 was working.

Do you still have V1.02? if so, can you try to load v 1.02 to see the results?

The differences between the 2 versions are really minors.

The Pip Dash V1.02 I but back to work, and the other MTCrap platform I deleted again.
It was doing really well last week, but this week got quite a hit, of course it is all about the long run!
I used the 2003 tpl, with some small changes to the MPTM EA, here is myfxbook link:

Just to be complete, I never even tried to load the MPTM EA with the last new installs, since everything stopped already when I tried to load the indicator. I have several more pictures from the taskmanager readings during all my last tests, but just didn't want to bore everyone.. If I can be of any help, just let me know! I also really want to make sure, that you don't forget that your work is really appreciated!

I don’t give up with your problems guys, I will share some beta version for test only to see if it fix the problems (I will code the same thing differently and we will see if it can help).

At the moment I am busy to find the perfect stroller for baby girl
