Very detailed explanation. It helps a lot and actually makes sense. :good:

The part I need to pay attention to is 'enter on blue wavy' instead of wait for trend arrow. It gets you in the move earlier and you stack on trend arrows and rads.

Are you trading D1 to avoid being glued to the screen all the time or did you find it more profitable than the H4?

Thanks
Not enough time to watch the H4 signals.

Just trying something different, everybody else is doing H4 so if it makes a big difference I'll revert back if necessary.

As always, time will tell. It's to short to make a real opinion about HGI on D1.
.
Thanks Gertje, has given me the kick up the arse to try D1 trading too, trades can keep going for weeks, but looks exciting :)

Can you put this explanation in a word document and I can add it to page 1 post 1 ? Adding pics with the explanation would be helpful. PM it to me and I will post it as an update.
Will do tomorrow, can look for some charts and make some writings on these.

Loving this so much. HGI indicator, edit, turn the range arrows to black, just trade the trend, rad and waveys, ducks in a barrel, trades can last over a Month, amazing stuff.

Loving it :)

Everyone, including the PDF says to exit on yellow wavy and enter on blue wavy. From everything I have seen, it appears almost every trade would be more profitable if we entered and exited using the yellow wavys only. What are your thoughts on this?

Wary line trading was not a part of the original thingy. This came in after Bob started to experiment with trading from wavy line to wavy line - and they were all yellow. Trading this way is pretty successful.

One set of yellow wavy lines meant a range was starting, another that it was finishing and it was impossible to tell which was which just by looking at them, so Tommaso started colouring the range end lines blue.

So it makes sense to trade blue to yellow, as blue is an advance warning that a trend is about to start/restart. Yellow is an advance warning that the trend is running out of steam and about to enter a range.

All strong moves (trends) are followed by periods of exhaustion where the market wanders sideways - often for long periods of time. Eventually, the market will either resume the original trend or reverse and go into one in the opposite direction.

Here is an example of what I mean. Yellow lines roughly outline the trend upwards. Magenta lines roughly outline the range that followed. After that, the trend resumed.

Experiment with trading both ways and see what works best for you.

No proof. Just looking back on H4 charts. Unless the wavys change, it just appears that yellow to yellow would be more profitable than blue to yellow wavys.
