HGI used with Hurst charts

Here is a GBPJPY D1 chart showing a trend wavy signal to setup followed by break of TDMTL to confirm and entry long. I missed this break when it happend so would not enter at this point now of posting.. I will await a retrace and enter when H4 lines back up.

O well. That retrace didn't happpen! .. so perhaps best entry on this has been missed. Posting anyway because it's a great example of no sure thing in Forex. Better out than in (with too big a risk had I entered when I first posted).

Will have to wait for next hurst cycle to enter (10/2 now posted below)..

I am not entering based on the DL Hurst MACD alone so yes I switch to a lower timeframe for trade entry (based on the higher timeframe HGI). If we had an MTF HGI then perhaps could do this all on one.. a future story..? but for now I trade D1, H4 and H1 wavy HGI setups and enter once the lower timeframe also lines up.

Thank you. I really appreciate your research. The reason I asked is that over at the HGI thread they talk about never changing time frames to prevent the dreaded update to the signals.

Agreed and I rely on the Matrix to fire the signals and alert me for the next chart to open and await a trade entry on. ..

So yes .. could then open the lower timeframe chart on that pair and with MACD Hurst and MTF MACD Hurst for the timeframe above and enter when it all lines up.. good thinking and a tidy solution for anyone that prefers this.

Sure.. I take the signals off Matrix so not an issue. As Milanese has pointed out you can ignore my comment about an MTF HGI as the Matrix essentially already offers that
