Here is another one...same scenario except the day arrow on the info is falt...I noticed (if it means anything) that the rogue arrows are posting in the back of the chart. (My terms are probably really wrong here so here is what I mean:

The big arrows in line with the wavy trend are printing on top of the 20 lines but the rogue ones i noticed are behind the 20 lines...does this mean anything to Tommasso and the programming team?

I have this problem here never seen on my computers so far, which version are you using, and did you refresh the chart before taken the img?

Hey Tommasso,

I am using 16.04....I left them as is so you could see it in real time with no refresh...here is another one I noticed but this time the rogue arrow is going up in a down move ...so direction doesn't seem to matter to the rogues...they appear in both directions.

I should clarify..I didn't refresh once I noticed them this morning...however I did shut the computer down for saturday and re-opened it last night...the chf jpy looks like it printed that way last night so for that one I could definitely say there was no refresh at any point. The other E/A and A/J looks like it printed friday and i did refresh by shutting down on Saturday but since opening last night no refreshes.

All the images were taken about 1/2 hour or so ago.

Does that make any sense...I hope so.

Here is chf/jpy with penindgs on it...you can see that the rogue is printing behind the pendings as well..normally it prints on top of pendings....Again this one was with no refresh as of last night and i believe it printed last night.

probably a broker problem, maybe there was a spread spike or something simil, no idea as i have with GlobalPrime never seen such a thingy..

Hi Bob! I am using the normal indicator for short term trades in lower timeframes. Should I switch to this version in your opinion?

I have just started today the forward testing so wouldn't loose much.

Thanks for the heads up....looked at it....If I am right, it looks like Feb 8th @ 1600 lines up with Sunday night at open of market in US time - so that would be set up ok - I think. I don't pretend to know a lot about this so if I could ask how to check if my history is complete - in options the charts tab says max bars in history 512000 and max bars in chart 65000 - for whatever that is worth. Again I don't know much about it.

@ Tommasso - I am using Oanda demo... there was a slight gap from Friday close to Sunday open..could that cause an opposite trend arrow before an opposite wavy?

Something interesting in my testing to see what this could be is that I highlighted the rogue arrow and I could delete it (Regular trend arrows i could not delete)... After deleting the rogue arrow I then went from 4hrTF to 1hrTF and back to 4hr and it came back ( printed behind the lines as it was before). I then opened the charts menu clicked on indicators list and then the HGI 16.04 - I just clicked on every tab going from one to the other in the HGI 16.04 dialogue box (about, common, inputs etc.)not changing anything... clicked ok and then close..the rogue was gone. I then switched from 4 hr to 1 hr and back to 4 hr and it was back (printed behind the 20 lines as before).

I have no idea what it could be...for now I guess I will dismiss any trend arrows that print without first having a wavy line prior to them or trend arrows that print behind the 20 lines considering them as rogue.

I hope this didn't detract form the thread but I thought maybe I should let you know what I was seeing in case it was important to anything.
