Easy template/chart copy scripts/indicators

ive made a mod and it works in 765. has been tested by another member here and described as 'flawless'

the only quirk is that you have to save a template first and then select that template in the input (actually its a feature ). defaults to 'default'

the problem was ChartIndicatorDelete.

I tested this and it seems like it works in the fact it loads all the pairs and with the template, but each EA has a sad face. If I'm doing something wrong, please let me know, otherwise I take it this mod still needs a little tweaking.

EDIT: The EA's Allow Live Trading gets turned off even though the template is saved with it on.

I then use the script, it loads 20+ charts with the EA and deletes the original. All charts now have the EA but show an unhappy face i.e. allow live trading is off for each one.

If this is normal behaviour for the script, then that's still ok. I really don't mind going through 20+ charts and enabling Allow Live Trading. It takes about 2minutes really.


UPDATE: After rereading Steve's first post 5 more times, I have gathered this is normal behaviour, so feel free to ignore this issue. Much appreciated for this script.

Hi all,

I amended the "Charts Into Alphabetical Order script" to handle suffices automatically.

I have tested the scipt for LMAX symbols (which has suffix ".lmx") and it works nicely.

You can change the suffix in the settings.

Open Charts In Alphabetical Order Indicator_a (new builds compatible) has been very helpful however I'm not able to successfully add more pairs to it.

I've messed around with the xx and yy arrays, lengths, etc., and also with the PAIRS and INDEX strings.
Could someone who understands binary let me know how I can add XAU, XAG, maybe some indices like US30, etc.?

I have made a few changes to the code, and now it should take all the symbols in your market watch panel. I haven't tested it extensively, so any problems let me know.

Here is a little script that will toggle the "Allow live trading"-checkbox on all charts. Note the following:

1. It really is a "toggle": If the "allow live trading" checkbox was on, it will switch it off. And vice versa.
2. It works via editing the Expert Properties and pressing the Ok button, programmatically. That also means that the EA will be reloaded and the EAs OnInit() function will be re-run.
3. This would not work very well for those EAs that have an infinite loop inside the OnTick() (or start()) function (eg. when the AlwaysOn parameter is true), as it is hard to get the Expert Properties dialog up when the EA is sleeping. In that case, it is best to switch the "AutoTrading" button off first.

This script may be handy in combination with the "Open Charts In Alphabetical Order Indicator" - indicator, although the "Charts into Alphabetical Order script" - script would probably achieve the same, but in a different way (by recreating the charts).

Are you able to create a script or indicator (similar to the user-selectable Open Charts in Alphabetical Order) that will remove the symbols from the Market Watch panel? The purpose of this would be to speed up Empty4 since Empty4 wouldn't have to download their tick data all the time and potentially an antivirus program spending resources checking it.

I have made a few changes to the code, and now it should take all the symbols in your market watch panel. I haven't tested it extensively, so any problems let me know.

I'm not sure if I am doing something wrong. I modified v1 to include .bo extensins for Binary Options. This version worked fine but seemed to included the "Open Charts in Alphabetical Order Indicator" on all charts. Not sure why because from reading here it says the first chart would be deleted, and I assumed (maybe incorrectly) the indicator would be removed as well.

On version it opens the charts up and removes the indicator but only the default template is loaded. all indicators are removed. Is thiss how it's meant to work as it seems counterintuitive.

Btw this is a great tool, so congrats to the people involved.
