3 Little Pigs System Automation

Ok - the EA has been set up with the OOTB settings today.

It took a EURUSD sell trade at the close of the 1400 candle, hit SL at 1530.

It took a EURGBP sell trade at 1600, which is still live.

At 2000 it should have taken a sell trade on AUSUSD and buy trade on USDJPY, the sell and buy arrows appeared in line with the higher timeframe trends, but it didn't.

The spreads are easily within the 2.5 default setting. I've checked to see if there is a limitation on the number of trades but all I can see is the 'Max Additional Positions in Trend', which is currently set to 1. I'm assuming that this relates to stacking trades though rather than multiple currency trades?

Any advice gratefully received as to why it's not opening the additional trades

You should use the latest verison called next generation it will recognise the spread automatic, for using stacking you must set AddAdditionalPositionsInTrend=true
MaxAdditionalPositions to how many stacking positions you will allow..

Thanks Tommaso - it's not a problem with stacking trades though, it's just not opening valid trades on more than one currency pair at a time for some reason.

KK1:
To what arrows are you referring? As far as I know there are no arrows connected with this EA? Did I miss something?

Hi Roger,

Well spotted!

I'd inadvertently dropped the EA onto charts where I already had the 3 Little Pigs Indicator installed, rather than bare charts. This may be affecting or interfering with the operation of the EA, I'll set it up on bare charts and see how it goes.

Too soon to tell. I just put it on Demo on 12 pairs. Will let it run for a week r so and see how it does.

This a demo account forexdan runs since over one year with the EA..
He uses the old OOTB setting with 0.1 lot for the inital position and 0.3 for the stacking position MaxAdditionalPositions=1

Ah ... yep of course, you are quite right buddy - that would be great, a simple but very useful idea ! So if you you could implement it - this addition would be valuable !

Update 28 feb, 2015
AGT had the idea that function that lets the EA close all open positions if a certain profit reached maybe could give better results. As I lked the idea I embedded this function in the EA and did some cosmetic updates to my latest EA look..
this are the new inputs
