AtrPeriod = 0 turns off the use of atr altogether. Setting AtrTpMultiplier to 0 turns off use of atr for the take profit. Setting AtrSlMultiplier to 0 turns off use of atr for the stop loss.

Thanks Steve for adding the ATR optopn.

V 1c is in post 1.

Angat asked me to add ATR functionality to the breakeven and jumping stop features, so there are two new inputs in the ATR for SL/TP inputs - AtrBeMultiplier (breakeven) and AtrJsMultiplier (jumping stop).

So, to use ATR for your own choice of stops, set AtrPeriod to > than zero, then the associated multipliers to your required value - 0 turns off the individual function.

Noobs, you do not need the update if you haven't the faintest idea what I am talking about.

Have fun folks.

Just sent you a $5 tip.

Been busy with other things, didn't have time to have a go at it myself. Thanks for this.

Thank you Steve for this version...

I played around with ATR and saw that the ATR period variable has probably a bug somewhere, as it cannot really be changed.

I choose ATR period 14 and it gives me the same TP as if it was 20
I choose ATR period 5 and it still gives me the same TP as if it was 20

Is it just me

I love the way people get something wrong and then assume there is a bug in the code. I do not know how many times I have to tell people that it is no use using the F7 key to change inputs. You have to drag a fresh instance of the ea onto your chart and make the changes that way.

Looking at the colour of your name, you are supposed to know stuff like that. Or am I wrong to have assigned Battle-Scarred Veteran status to you?

Thank your lucky stars I did not just spend two hours searching for a non-existent bug.

Sorry Steve, my mistake. Everything is like you said.

Sorry

V 1c is in post 1. Zennor wanted risk-based lot sizing for the multi-level trades as well as the main trade, so I have added it.

Remember that risk-based lot sizing only works if you have a stop loss, and that a ridiculously far away emergency only stop will make your risk-based lot size look silly.

V 1d is in post 1 with the fix for the incorrect risk-based multi-trade lot sizes.

Make your own fixes by going to line 1987 and changing:
SendSingleTrade(Symbol(), OP_BUYSTOP, TradeComment, MultiTradeLot, price, stop, take);

to:
SendSingleTrade(Symbol(), OP_BUYSTOP, TradeComment, SendLots, price, stop, take);

then repeat the exercise at line 2019, then F7 to recompile.

Gulp... Here goes....
Steve,

I deleted 1c off my pc, installed 1d.

Removed all pending trades, set the risk percent to 1% for both Main and Multitrades.

Set EA to trade 24 hours for testing purposes.

Attached is the result of the trades.
