HI Guys,
Found a issue with the Blue Wave Closing...I am guessing it isn't working for anyone?

Provide more detail, what version of the EA etc....?

Hi Bo

I have the following error on 2x.
Any thoughts?

I am running demo on Empty4 Build 670.

Made no amendments to set file.. plain vanilla settings.

You have to tick the "Allow Live Trading" in the Expert Properties...Under "Common"...

But I personally don't use the HTF filters, so did'nt bother to put it in.
I even wonder if anyone is using the TimeFrame Filters..

I think there are more manual traders who look at the HTF for a Blue Wave, and then move to the lower TF to take trades in the direction of the HTF on the LTF Blue WAves and LTF Arrows. The EA can not yet mimic that method of trading.
It would be a big improvement if you can have a HTF Wave filter.

And for the future it would be an even bigger improvement if you would have an extra even lower TF (e.g. H1) to further refine your Exits. Manually I now try to Exit my open H4 trades, based on H1 counter Waves or H1 counter Arrows. A counter H1 wave shows up much earlier than a reversal and Yellow Wave in H4.
So far this appears to significantly reduce the DD of open trades, and conserves more profit than a simple stoploss.

Well, let's have a thought on this..
Currently I am more focussed on gettiing better entrys.
And SL out of trades.. I even want to set all closings on opposite signals to none, as it is preventing the trade sometimes for taking the whole move..

As part of the entries...
I Would like to prevent RAD and some Trend trades to go into immediate drawdown..
Those signals sometimes show up on a candle which is counter direction.
If someone has some ideas (even better code) on how to prevent that dd.
And enter the trade at a better point.. much appreciated..

Recomended update for everyone who uses BlueWave Trades.
In 2x, I forgot to include the code to close it on opposite wavys

Also the htf slope is added, like mentioned in previous post.

Help needed!!
As this EA is growing in popularity and is getting more features and stuff...
And it looks less and less like the original EA which it's derived from.
I think it is time to put some decent documentation with it..

Is there anyone who would like to get this ball rolling??
Making a good headstart with this document in Google docs,
I will be happy to jump in after the base is setup to refine the thingy..

Would like to have not only the specific items of this EA in it.
But also some basic newbie stuff, like which build numbers,, How to setup an EA.
What to do if you get "trade not allowed"error..

Dear Boinvest,
Thanks for the Wavy to Wavy adaption of HGB, I post a picture here of today on M240 trading Blue only plus TrendWavy. You can see that there are no multis and it has not recognised the TrendWavy (?) the 20;00 candle carries the next blue wavy but the Arrow+Wave was passed by. I have no knowledge of code although I look at it and try to follow the logic. As is the EA is successful on this time frame trading wavy to wavy with ADR SL and TP adjusted for each pair. I have your EA set for Blue to Gold only plus Trend Wave with multi pending on each. The trade comment Gold Wavy appeared although Gold are set at false and all zeros.

Just wondering.. On wavy and trendwave setting s...what are your minpipdistances set to?
