No just pocket your profits and trade another day. 15M chart isn't going to stop a winning trade from going back to a loser. Why would you think that.

Dax is my absolute favourite instrument to trade. However I usually trade it on a 5min and 15min chart because its so volatile. I do sometimes take longer term trades on the Dax hourly chart. I took 10 Dax trades this week. 7 losers 3 winners. As I said, its not been an easy week - at least for me. I am waiting for chance to go long oil as I suspect we will get a better bounce than we have had so far.

One thing that has worked well for me on commodities is to have an opinion based on fundamentals and then trade the chart only in the direction of my opinion but only when the PA confirms. I will look to do the same using HGI.

yep oil has hardly moved,I have only just started a couple of weeks ago using indices, just using the same rules as bob uses on currencies, 4 hour chart, Daily for direction,

Hiho together,

cause I'am finishing my test of HGI today I wanted to post my results. I started at 26.1.2015.

Most of the trades i took when a big arrow told me so. I set TP and SL most of the time to the next local high/low and the the RR was just a a bit better then 1:1.
I did not use any TSL. Some of the last trades I stopped when HGI told me that the trend is over.

I'am really surprised to see the results. Even a stupid/lazy hobby trader like me made some pips.

HGI gave me a good feeling to enter a trade and with a little bit of common sense from the last three years of demo trading it was good enough to stay green.

You could do the same with any time frame !

Take your profits, then go to bed ! Trade again the next day.

You can try the normal 16.04 if you have problems with the special version, it works perfect with M15, but uses no special formula..

Hi. Could you please explain what the difference is between the normal 16.04 and the special M15 version? Since the normal 16.04 already is "working perfect" on M15.

it uses special parameters, experimental used, for optimizing the HGI for the use on M15..
