Just a simple question, I have browsed thru this thread and looked in to the code.
There seems to be code (eDigits) to handle brokers with different digits (as there's 4 or 5 digit brokers).

My question is: When I enter a trade manager value it is in pips regardless if the broker is 4 or 5 digit, is this assumption correct?

yes it recognizes automatic the digits for the symbol needed, this works for 4 and 5 digits brokers..

Hello, I discover this brillant EA that is a great help for any trading. Read the whole trade and it's been instructive.

Moreover, I wanted to ask is there somewhere some best use practices and feedback/research for the settings ?

just try the OOTB settings they should normally work fine, maybe depending on your strategy ,you will change the ATR timeframes, or not use ATR but your manual SL/TP jump settings .. Same for the partclose functions.
You should just experiment on a demo account with the different settings to find something that works for you best and too so you will understand the impact of the different settings much better..

I am running an EA on GP and porting to FXCM Live account using FXBlue. However, the strategy only sends a SL when conditions warrant, and then manages them internally.
I want to have an emergency SL in the background to cover situations like Black Swan events where the EA has not sent the SL settings yet.
My question is which manager would be best to use - MPTM or APTM? I have tried both and it is not clear to me which is best foir this situation.

APTM will use less CPU power as MPTM as it is not running in an endless loop, it is fully build 765++ compatible, coded property strict and uses a user selectable timer function for checking the open trades. Too you will find some extra features MPTM not has.
Just try both and take the one you like more this is mostly very individual...
