The Hidden Pending EA

Hi Peter,

Over60 is right as the HPEA is a helper for different manual and hedging strategies, it makes normaly no sense to use the EA on 28 pairs, as it will be very difficult for you to follow all pairs...
Try to understand the EA in using it on one pair, maybe with different settings to understand better the functions, and to understand how to embed the HPEA in your strategies. Ask any questions here, as there will be for sure always someone to share his/her experiences with the EA.

I have been searching through the threads to find a simple tool to use in manual trading - an OCO EA to use on M15 charts (any TF would work if TF defined for candle). This would ideally place OCO pending trades above the High/Low of the previous candle - when one is triggered the other is cancelled. It would have a simple TP and SL of x and y number of pips and perhaps a JS or trail stop to catch a move.

I have looked at the HPEA which does not have candle inputs and The Script for Placing Pending orders which is candle based but two separate scripts.

Following a PM with Tommaso, he said to put my request in the thread and as it could be added to the hiddenPendingEA as a new entry option, setting the pending order on the previous candle/highlow ( and a user selctable EntryBuffer). Also in theory the EA could, if user wishes and pending was not filled, delete the old hiddenPendings and set new ones on the next candle h/l...

I will add a previous candle high/low option for the initial pending setting, this will include, if user wishes and pending was not filled, deleting the old hiddenPendings and set new ones on the next previous candle h/l.
This will be added in the next update.

New previous candle high/low function for the initial pending order as optional, note this function if set to ture overrides all other price input options. You should for using this set DeleteOppositeAfterFill to true (this is OOTB set to true), so after filling the opposite pending will be delted. I f you wish you can set the HPEA to move every new candle the hidden pending orders, if not filled to the next previous candle.
The new inputs for these functions are:

I have spent time playing with this EA this morning - and the initial OCO candle functions work really well - once trade entered the opposite is cancelled. However, the move orders function to next candle if no fill does not seem to work (see attached image) - the pendings should have moved to the long blue candle.

Also the EA works well on GP but not FXCM for some reaqson (my main trade accounts for Spread Bet purposes in UK). Has anyone else seen this and figured out a solution?

If not, I will use FXBlue to copy trades from FXCM to GP.

Hi Doc, you are right there was a misstypo causing this function not to work as intended. The update should fix this.
About broker the EA is tested on GlobalPrime and some other brokers and I had so far with no serious broker any problems in using it. Could you describe what is for you with FXCM not working, are thre any error-messages ecc?
Fixed version build 160 is attached on the first post.

probably a spread problem, try a higher allowed spread setting MaxSpreadAllowedMultiplicator to 2 or 2.5
and change MaxDiffPrice to 8 or 10..., this will cause that the execution will be less accurate, but if the broker has higher slippages or some times unmotivated spreadspikes it can be needed.

Will do that too to make sure all well in future. I set up a new Empty4 terminal; and it worked fine in that so..... crappy Empty4.
