i hope someone can please help, loving this bot so far but here are some multi sell stops on EG that opened on 10/2 and closed on 13/2 without being triggered? am i missing something i dont know but thought it would fired and been part of a sequence , still have an EG sell active from 11/2 but it didnt turn into a multi trade.

I think pending trades that don't trigger are set to expire at the end of the week that they were placed. There is an option in your settings where you can specify the hour on Friday i.e. 16 is default.
So in your case it seems EG didn't go low enough to activate the multis in that week, only the main trade got triggered.
Not sure if you can turn off this "FridayExpiryPendingHours" without altering the code.
If you want to go down that route, let us know how it goes.
I've been having problems making the ATR BE work, perhaps i am missing something here (if this has been already been answered please be kind enough t o direct me to the appropriate answer.....).
My issue is that although i've set up the Break even (BE) feature to kick in at ATR x1 I can't seem to make it work. ATR stop loss seems to be working just fine
Thanks in advance
Matt
I might have added the input but forgotten to add the code that makes it work. I will take a look later.
Read the effing manual, ok?
Afterprime is the official SHF broker. Read about them at https://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=175790#p175790.
I still suffer from OCCD. Good thing, really.
Anyone here feeling generous? My paypal account is always in the market for a tiny donation. pianodoodler@hotmail.com is the account.

will leave this function alone for the time being unless it keeps happening then i may request an alternative option? as it seems that leaving phantom pendings permanently might not be a great solution which is why the feature was added initially, lets see, there may b a happy medium to be struck eg have a pending expire after two weeks

Hi everybody
My Basic question, open my chart in full-screen (32" monitor) Chart in full screen and I still can't read all the text that is printed on the background. How can I scroll the text?
Right-click in chart, Properties, Common, check "Scale Fix" will not work. It scrolls the candles around but not the Bot text.
Thanks
The only dumb question to ask is the one not to ask.
Will we need to modify our tradingHours settings due to Daylight Savings Time change in USA? Here's an email I got from one of my non-US-based brokers-
"Please be aware that trading hours will be affected by the Daylight Saving Time (DST) change in the US this weekend, when "end of day" will shift from 22:00 GMT to 21:00 GMT (Empty4 server time).
Market Opening Time
The currencies markets will open at 21:00 GMT (equivalent to 17:00 EDT) on March 8th, 2015, rather than at 22:00 GMT."
I wondered the same thing myself. I think it depends on whether your broker also changes their server time as well (eg: from GMT+2 to GMT+3). If so, then I would think no change to the PPoS time settings would be required.

Well I don't know your settings, try increasing your resolution perhaps.
Alternatively, you could try reducing the amount of text that is displayed on screen by modifying the EA.
You might find that you don't need 3-4 lines or more:
Open the EA in the MQL4 editor.
Search for the text you want to remove.
Save and recompile.

Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here, but I think it doesn't really matter at all. It doesn't matter what time zone you're in or if you have DST or not. It all comes down to broker time. Typically you want the EA to act just after the formation of a new candle, which normally for most brokers will be at 0:00. So just leave the setting at default and you should be fine.

The problem is that in some countries the DST change does not occur at the same time that in the US or Australia, which is the case where I live. I think everyone should check their trading times just in case.
