Hi Wiggy,

seems your SET file is not proper to BoHGB 2x2, maybe a old version one ? :

Hmmm, I don't think i loaded an old set file....at least I'm sure i did not....I did however edit the EA as per my default settings i mentioned above....I then loaded EA and made small changes e.g. magic number then i saved a set file per chart/pair...I'll redo and see what happens....are you trading 2x2, is it running....?

Yes BoHGB is running now but I removed the EA from all charts and restart the platform, put the EA again and insert Set file

I thought everything was going well, but is not the case. If the "breakeven" and "Jumping Stop" functions are enabled to true, all its settings appear to zero (see picture). I also notice that the EA is opening very few positions !!

Hi Guys,
Did anybody get this GBPCAD Range Trade...? Firstly, I'm not sure why the EA took the long position, can somebody explain, as I'm unsure it should have....

Also, does the "RangeCloseOnOppositeArrow=true" close the trade on any reverse arrow..e.g trend or RAD....?

I can see that the trade may have been closed due to a Trend Arrow appearing, however if Range trades are closed on any arrow, then it should have closed 4 bars earlier with the RAD arrow...! confusing....

I've put it on test since Feb16, it did quite good in the last week or so. Total closed pips is over 4,000, with a 1,200 floating loss. Setting is OOTB.

I'm testing it on daily, so far with modest success, but it is too soon to draw any conclusions.

It seems to me that many people are seeing confusing behavior with the EA and are too petrified or unsure of what they are seeing to make comment....unfortunately, the fear of persecution is stifling the EA's development...version 2x2 has been downloaded 88 times and I cannot be the only person having these problems....just an observation...

I have tried a number of things and removed all multi trades in an attempt to determine if the EA is open and closing trades consistent with Bob's Holy Grail strategy/Indicator... I figure if the EA is not entering the market in the right direction, then why have the EA open 3 to 5 trades in the wrong direction also....I'm also very concerned about multiple pending trades as the experience from a couple of week ago and the CHF move....I had the EA on one chart and blew up a demo account with 4 pending being entered too early due to spread blow-out and exit well past the stops due to lack of liquidity and shonky crim/liquidity provider actions....what would happen is it was a GBP or USD move and the EA was on multiple charts.....so, if we want stacking i think the EA should control this if possible, and place them in controlled circumstances, e.g. spread check/max slipage....Not just set pending which place them on the brokers servers and expose the trader to risk....

I really like this EA and i hope we can collectively sort out some of it's undesired features...
