Any chance someone could link me to the latest instructions/indicators for 15 minute time frame? I'm having trouble finding the post and would love to get things set up for this week.

Hey Leeeta,
Thanks for your post and a PDF summary of a whole trading system is a good idea. When I have some time I am happy to do this for you if this would be helpful.
I have thought about it but don't feel it will be necessary to start my own thread on this combined strategy as everything needed to trade successfully is already here in this thread (combined of course with Bob's HGI thread and Captain Jack's Naked thread) and that is a credit to Pedro who got this idea about using Hurst with HGI going.
My time is going to be slighly limited this coming month but I will check in here each day to answer any more questions and I would encourage you and everyone here to post some trades for discussion and to keep this thread going.
The only further update I intend to make will relate to the Murrey Math lines and what I feel will be the optimal lookback period and way of using the lines in combination with 5/10 Hurst and HGI. So perhaps it would make sense for me to create a PDF at that time to share here and if Pedro feels it is accurate enough perhaps he will then add to post 1 as a possible conclusion of what he started.
The fact is already we have all the info to generate a 10% weekly return and max drawdown of 10 - 15%. That in itself I feel is awesome and the only further advise I could give is keep a small account balance to trade with (..25% of savings is my rule) because that is all you need when making 10% a week and take profits out often (weekly or certainly monthly) so that if you do loose your account in a black swan event it is just portion of what you have available. And every 3 months you have covered it with profit anyway.
I might add that 8 years ago when I found interest in Forex I had a dream that I would be able to give up my 60hr per week job in the rat race and trade full time. March is my second month now trading full time from home having sacked my boss.. the next step of the dream is getting out of the UK to somewhere tropical and chilled.
I feel this next mission will take less than the last 8 years and that feeling is something I am very grateful for. I am 38.
I wish everyone has an awesome week ahead and let's see some charts!
Would be lovely if you could do that PDF file and update them once there are improvements. Looking forward to it and hope you make a lot of pips.
Btw, I share the same dream.. where I no longer work under a boss but for myself.
Cheers
Leeeta

hi TraderJoeForex,
Which Matrix do you use for H1 signal?
As i see you don't use HGI (16.04 1H),in your template you have the HGI 16.04 ,you think it's more accurate?
Thanks

The 1Hr version of HGI 16.04 is stlil being beta tested as far as I am aware and the standard 16.04 seems to work fine.resclub » Mon Mar 02, 2015 1:54 pm wrote:hi TraderJoeForex,

I am no longer using Matrix and just have all the charts open with 16.04 sending alerts to my iphone. You could use Matrix instead though as I did previously.

Took three entries today on GBPNZD. Being a little conservative on the T.P. and keeping a few pips shy of the next positive octave, got me out of the trades with profit. I am still experimenting with the settings of ATR on TMA TRUE indicator between .20 and .60. I think there is a sweet spot in there somehwhere! Anyone else take this trade?

I'm more focused on the EU at the moment. I'm looking at the 4 hour. Got an arrow a few hours ago, the daily TF is trending downwards and so is the H1 but the white TMA was below the yellow (or in my case the purple was below the silver) so I am waiting it out right now to see if they might crossover. It looks like they might cross soon and if they do it will probably give me the better entry because the price will have to move upwards for that to happen. The Hurst MACD is also telling me to wait it out a bit so that's what I'll do. If the price manages to reach the pivot then that will probably be my go ahead assuming it doesn't break the level.
Feel free to comment on my analysis.
This is actually my first post on this site. I'm somewhat of a noob so I'm still demoing but I was demoing ichimoku for the past few weeks. I like the HGI that everyone is using but it was Pedro's discovery, his icing on the cake, that really caught my interest, made me want to read this whole thread and now I'm demoing this strategy as well. I'm looking forward to seeing how it all goes.
So thank you Pedro for sharing and thank you all (traderjoe, milanese, pips400 to name a few) who continue to contribute to this thread and enhance this method of trading. To all the others in this thread who have shared their insight......thank you very much.

EDIT [ the opposite wavy only appeared after I entered before I took the screenshot. Will now look to get out on the opposite Hurst cycle unless anything changes]

Well done for posting and welcome to the thread.. Yep if you wait a few H4 candles you should get a much better entry unless anything changes ( as above I am holding long EURGBP 1HR for the next few hours and expect to be able to sneak a profit).Abe55 » Mon Mar 02, 2015 7:38 pm wrote:I'm more focused on the EU at the moment. TJF,
Just some questions on your latest strategy on H1:
For a short do you require 4 red bars on Hurst cycle to be in place at the time the HGI signal occurs, and you discard the signal if they aren't, or do you just wait for 4 red bars.
Are you using a higher time frame filter for this H1 setup (e.g. only trading in direction of D1 HGI, or something similar)
Have you discounted trading H4 because there are limited opportunities there with this strategy.
If you were trading H4 would you essentially use the same settings for MM, itrade and TMAtrue.
