I missed the GBPNZD as have been out all day but look s like you did well there. Just found an entry long on EURGBP...

EDIT [ the opposite wavy only appeared after I entered before I took the screenshot. Will now look to get out on the opposite Hurst cycle unless anything changes]
...got out with 7 pips long on EURGBP overnight and there was a nice opportunity to reverse and enter short but I missed this.

Just some questions on your latest strategy on H1:

For a short do you require 4 red bars on Hurst cycle to be in place at the time the HGI signal occurs, and you discard the signal if they aren't, or do you just wait for 4 red bars.
Are you using a higher time frame filter for this H1 setup (e.g. only trading in direction of D1 HGI, or something similar)
Have you discounted trading H4 because there are limited opportunities there with this strategy.
If you were trading H4 would you essentially use the same settings for MM, itrade and TMAtrue.
It is 4 bars before entry ... it does not matter when the signal occurs in this sequence as long as it is the most recent signal. Sometimes there will already be more than 4 bars at the time of signal.. other times there won't be any and the hurst cycle is still opposite.

A good example is the trade I took last night on EURGBP.. by the time 4 bars showed up and I entered trade an opposite range wavy also showed up. I stayed in for one hurst cycle and still got out with 7 pips. If the range wavy had not showed up I would have held until it did or TP at even MM line.

I don't use a HT filter with this strategy as the hurst cycle and MM lines are the filter. I just take every signal I am able for (which is less than 25% of them).

I think I am too impatient for H4.. I like to have jam everyday. But H4 and D1 are good timeframes if trading around work.

Well done for posting and welcome to the thread.. Yep if you wait a few H4 candles you should get a much better entry unless anything changes ( as above I am holding long EURGBP 1HR for the next few hours and expect to be able to sneak a profit).

Hey Abe55, did you get that entry short into EURUSD this morning?

H4 2.1.1 STO indicator would have got you in near the top of the highlighted down candle if you waited for this? This is one example where the STO validates an entry that we wouldn't have taken waiting for 4 red bars before going short.

Such a great win to loss ratio, I wonder if it will it be possible to successfully automate this strategy.

Nice trade Xenn,

Just curious to know what you saw on this as no wavy or arrow.... were you just looking at the TMA or Stoch for entry? Only ask as I missed a couple like this and would be interesting to understand your analysis.

Good for you for getting in on this one!
