Wow, lookin' good Steve! It's impressive how quickly you were able to dial this in.

I wonder how many other members are waiting in the wings to get their hands on this baby?

It seems like long ago, that we were all in awe of the pip harvesting this EA can generate.

I call first dibs!!

We are good to go for Monday. I started editing the User Guide earlier and will finish off tomorrow. I will open a new thread and lock this one.

There might be a wrinkle or two to iron out, but so far as I can tell given my total lack of attention to finer detail, HGB is opening trades as required, closing them as required, and refraining from sending The Dreaded Duplicates.

HGB made up for those losses yesterday seamlessly. I closed the position a while ago as I would were I trading this live, so I am flat for the weekend.

Here is the final result taking into account those GA losses yesterday:

Steve, thanks so much for going back to basics with HGB, as once upon a time it use to work consistently well! Until we all decided that we wanted to improve it to death!

The demo results are outstanding for such a short amount of time!

So, once it comes out of the showroom floor this weekend people, can we please leave it alone?
(and that naturally includes me!)

Thanks again mate for not giving up! Although, I'm sure you probably thought about it, and thanks for editing the HGB pdf! I am sure it all has been very time consuming.

So for now, I will be anxiously waiting, (and wetting myself like Wolfeman), until we can download them! :!!:

HGI & HGB is the best trading system and EA I have come across . It would have been a crime to let to let the EA fall by the side . I reverted back to the basic version 1 w , it was performing better than the 2 & 3 series . It killed the trends and somehow survived the bank interventions and the range of late .

I am so looking forward to the back to basics HGB rewrite . Steve and BOB you guys rock !!!

Good stuff Steve. Quick question - was the testing done on the H4 tf and was that taking all the trade types into account (including Range) ?

The new and vastly simplified HGB is open for business at http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... 1#p116761.

I have removed Range trading altogether - it can always be reintroduced if anyone finds a way of trading it manually with success. A lot of the previous inputs are replaced by one-size-fits-all input, so less flexibility but much easier to use and fewer moving parts to go wrong.
