Bummer ! ATM I cant connect/reconnect thew MFXB accounts properly to the inet ... presumably I have to resolve this issue using the MFXB's EA and not the inet based "auto update" way. That EA connection works so far for me. Any other experience here with MFXB ?

Just a question, were you able to solve the myfxbook autoupdate problem? Half of my accounts have not updated since February; I guess I'll have to use the EA

@AB - tried the reconnection via the button in the settings, as you described it - but did not have luck doing so. Yes, I may really reconnect the MFXB acc - but only once.

Yep, I tried once again, the accounts updated only once, and that's all. Guess I'll better stick to the EA.

I had some trouble with my internet connection, probs are resolved now, all acc's are up and running.
So we got another useful lesson about grid trading (not the first time !): the GP1 + 4 are in deep DD's, bcz the trades entered are on the "wrong" site. The GP 1+4 are moved into the archive TGT_FX2.
So if strong trades (OMG, imagine black swans ... :youknow: ) go on - we'll no chance. OR: someone is experienced enough to intervene manually, hedging and so on.
So I'll abandon once more the grid trading strategies, only the Matilda's WW are left (GP 2+3)

So, all in all the two bots further in the game are atm only the PP/PPoS and the 3 LP (no grid trading, no marti).

AND: of course waiting and watching the new HGB too.

A short remark here only. The PP/PPoS have done it this week already. I have the MPTM sitting on the accounts. TP 5... 10%. So, bcz of the pretty good moves all trades are closed now. The other trend trader "3 LP" of course is doing well as expected in this current market situation.

Pretty good moves aren't good for the "griddies" ... Altough: the two Matildas left can struggle so far with the trends and they are waiting the reversals coming in any case sooner or later.
(And yes: lets see how the actually great working "trendies" one by one will deal with the forthcoming change of conditions )

Even the BO trader "FirstStrike" shows now better results. Dont have so much hope for this one - but lets see.

An account with the new HGB 1b is added now, the settings are different from OOTB, lets see how this baby will do the job.
I changed the settings for the FirstStrike. Altough it's a tedious work to find an appropriate setfile, I think after some observations, I could make during the last weeks, I'm perhaps now closer to a more optimized setfile ... who knows ?

All my efforts + hope are now directed nearly completly to the PPoS (+ PP itself ... ) !

All the grid trading EAs are removed atm.

I switched the PPoS to v 1f since now. Settings are unchanged. :hi:

The HGB is switched to the new v1e, although it seems, that this one isn't a favorite furthermore I let him run so far.

At the end I removed that old PP v1j on the GP 14 platform, running already since dec 2014. I set here the last PPoS v 1f in a PP mode (xfactornos settings) like Steve actually recommended in the now finally closed PP original thread.

And yes: the former idea of closing at a fixed TP for the 3 LP bot seems to be nonsense (GP 14+ 15). It's better to let the three little pigs run on their own, they'll find their food themself.

The FirstStrike EA is chugging along, more time is needed to make a final conclusion. May be despite the
long troublesome testing at the weekly an appropriate setfile could be found ? Not sooner, perhaps later

The PPoS accounts are all doing well, altough they must be switched to the new version "g" Steve posted recently ... so far that's not done.
I have actually running even 9 accounts with the PPoS ... not all are shown. However they are all doing a good/excellent job. The settings are all around "xfactorno's".

Atm 6 accounts with various setfiles are running with the second live candidat - FirstStrike. Optimizing that bot is a much harder task. But step by step I'll becoming closer to an appropriate setfile - I hope so . Would be not the best but presumably an optimized one. The point is perhaps to make a few trades with only one successful basket per week - that's easily possible now using the v "I" (see GP 33) Tommaso coded recently.

AND: a new EA is set up now - I took into the "portfolio" the "Udines 00level" EA the member "skyline" coded recently plus posted in the FF.com Forum.

The 3 LP EA is chugging along further, but he is now in a bad mood, after loosing all the good gains he took in the past (Remember forexdans one year experiment: this bot made a good profit, struggeling his way through long lasting DD's ... ). Maybe it would be better to switch of the bot after making these pretty good wins and wait for a market direction change ? Anyway - I let this thingy run further like forexdan did.
But it seems to me the mentioned above EAs might be better candidates for a live trading - especially the PPoS (so far only on daily TF, no H4 attempts are executed so far ).

(Had no luck using the HGB, at least on daily - moved the accounts/MFXB links into the archive TGT_FX2. BUT: Must still watch the HGB threads - maybe the ongoing changes of the EAs will improve the results and finally bring it to a successful end ? )

The testing of the "3 LP" is stoped now - the bot is in DD - and yes perhaps it will recover. But looking at the curves "forexdan" got during a year, we see this one may chugg along in the DD's during weeks and months. So, who knows may be this one is really a winner .... after years ? :youknow:

So I closed now manually all trades on my 6 Platforms with the FirstStrike bot. I'll start all of them from monday using only the FS latest v. "I" + new settings ! BUT additionally I'll use Tommaso's simpleAPBM EA for closing all trades when getting 3% gain - that basket closing will be done once a week only, after a basket 3 % was closed: no new trade opening that week will be provided !
The PPoS accounts are untouched so far ... waiting for the "Zennor's Piproid" now !

No clear picture for the Udine 00level trading EA is atm available.
