Start of a new week. I gave it an hour for the markets to get over their usual bad temper at being forced out of bed.

Seconds after that lots of pending trades sent. Seconds after that, a few filled.

Whatever HGB is, for sure he aint boring.

I'm gonna wait until 9 or 10 GMT on Tuesday to fire up my HGB. No sense in letting the markets with the Monday jitters mess with my account!

Does anyone use the "Trading Times" function in HGB??

Hi,

Have a slight problem but not sure if its a platform issue or a HGB issue.
In my alerts box i have a message saying failure to send order error code 148 has anyone experienced this and how do i overcome it. I have shut down and restarted my platform but still the same.

Sorry ignore this just had it come up again and its because i have reached the limit on pending and open orders and won´t accept any more.

Yes, my broker closes around 5PM local time, for a few minutes each day, and I have had "market closed" error come up. By setting up the trade times to not trade during that time, I have not received the 'market closed' error, and the trade is temporarily held until the market re-opens, rather than being deleted.

Hello Steve,

I am working on minor adjustments / tweaks on HGB. Here is what I have observed:

a) function CalculateDailyResult()
inside the for(.....)loop,
below: if (OrderMagicNumber() != MagicNumber) continue;
ADD the following code:
//--the line below is added to select only todays' trades.
if (OrderCloseTime() < iTime(Symbol(),PERIOD_D1,0) ) continue; //order was closed before current start of this Day BAR. Ignore it.

Doing this will provide accurate trade counts and total profit calculations for the Day.

Interesting...It didn't appear to work when I tried it and I followed the rules.

What part of the function actually stops it from trading?
Maybe it's something I did.?

looking through my trades I haven't seen a single trend trade taken. is anyone getting trend trades?
