Hi SpiderX, does the ExitonTrend means that it will exit with a different trend arrow color? And if it does, does it enter on the next trend arrow if EnterOnTrend=true or does it enter right away after closing the first trade?

Yes. ExitOnTrend means exit on opposite trend arrow.
I think it could enter right away after closing the first trade if the conditions are met, i.e: MinTimeBetweenTrades.

But if I put MinTimeBetweenTrades=1 it should wait one minute to enter next one and what is happening is that it exits and enters immediately on the opposite direction...what do you think I am doing wrong?

in the testing you guys have done, have you encountered any problem where the EA won't close a trade on an opposite signal ?

No problem with the closing, the only thing that I am still unable to do is enter only on the second opposite signal, the first would close the trade and enter the next same color signal.

Actually there is another request for SpiderX, last Friday there was a sudden move on eurusd, the EA got a signal and entered, the problem was that it was just too fast and by the time the TP and SL were entered the price was already beyond it, wich made me stay on a volatile market with no SL and TP, not the most comfortable feeling

I know that this only happens because my SL is very near to price line, but it would be a good idea to use a second emergency SL that would trigger if the first one fails. I have no idea how to do it, so I leave it as a possible improve on next version.

I would like the EA to trade at opening of new candle only, but trades are opened / closed immediately.

Hi SpiderX, i got error with HGI Hurst Trader v1.04b.mq4 and HGI Hurst Trader v1.05b.mq4 ,when I try to drag this EA to Chart , Empty4 just gave me no response , and i found 100 error when i compiling , can resolved its?

I use Empty4 version 4.00, Build 765

Great EA, first and foremost !


a great feature to add to filter out the repaint would be if you could make the EA wait for 1 or two candles after the signal, refresh and check the signal again.. if it's valid then take the trade or set a pending order.
