I have made more than 1100 pips since yesterday morning using 28 pairs !
Today I have more than 350 pips on pending trades !!!
I use Version 1e and put manually SL at 5 pips as soon as I have more than 25 pips on a trade

Remember not to give your pips back guys.
HGB can make more pips in a day than I used to make in a year. Then he will give them straight back again. You have made hundreds of pips so far this week? I have. Fantastic. Now shut down the bot and trade again next week.
Don't get caught trading against the inevitable retrace. Noobs, the markets will go so far in one direction then will retrace. Trade in the face of the retrace and you will see all those lurvely pips disappear as though they were a mirage.
Remember guys, HGB trades the signals shown by HGI. When these signals appear at the extreme end of a market move (and they often do) you will lose a shed-load on the retrace.

I thought I would share how I have been trading recently using HGB as a helper on my live account. I started this year taking signals off matrix fired to my iphone and decided on H1 as my preferred timeframe. I missed plenty of signals but the ones I caught I watched against a hurst cycle, TMA bands and/or MML trying to find best entry and exit... watching for clues. Sometimes this worked well, other times I missed bigger moves but even if the trade went against me I practised getting out with minimal loss or small TP. I made about 20% on my account that month so that is now my HGI benchmark.
I have previously resisted using EA's knowing that until I could prove to myself that I can trade with positve expectancy it was unrealistic to expect/rely on a computer program to do that for me as I would not know when to leave it and when to intervine.
I started trading alongside HGB trying to get in at a better entry AFTER the EA would have opened a trade and sometimes I gained a few extra pits and thought yeaah .. 1 to the human
and sometimes I missed getting in at all and watched price instantly shoot. But it was a fun game and I was learning.
I now allow HGB to open all my trades, the law of averages seems stronger than the law of optimization and not missing any signals compared with fussing over best entry seems more efficient and instead I can focus on where the trade is going and whether to let it run or just take a quick 20pips.
Using HGB in this way it becomes the ultimate helper .. an expert adviser that does what it says on the label and ensures no possible entries are missed. My game then is how long can I stay in without giving back gains and this is the fun bit!
I stick with one main trade as feel it is more efficient to have a full lot size from the start of a move than smaller multi trades. .. as long as we have a solid strategy that wins more than 50% of the time.. and in HGI we sure do.
I've looked at ALR2.0 as a way to manage trades that don't work out and thought that might be the perfect marriage with HGB but then I realized this was unncessary. Since we have a 60-70% winning strategy surely it's better just to take a loss when we have one and then use a larger position size on the next trade on that pair. That way we are staying true to HGI and not relying on an alternative strategy to get us out of trouble. The Maths work.. I use 1.2.3.4.5.5.5... and can't imagine having 5 HGI entries not work out in a row and this avoids getting stuck in a range while trying to recover.
So there it is ...and although I'm currently also testing HP and Ppos to see if they can compete I feel the bar has been set very high with HGI.
Steve I hope you are proud of what you have achieved here in this forum and so nice to share.

I sure am.Steve I hope you are proud of what you have achieved here in this forum and so nice to share.
I started SHF nearly 3.5 years ago assuming that it would attract about 5 members and die out inside of a few weeks. I never dreamed for a second that it would become the place it is.
A lot of the credit goes to the mods, who jump all over misbehaviour with the ruthlessness of a hungry predator espying an easy lunch. Tommaso is especially lethal - he seems to have an instinct for trolls etc and I am convinced he is deleting their registrations even as they type their first (and last) post.
The regime here allows the free-thinkers to do their thing and to post about their work without being attacked, as happens so often elsewhere. We are all benefiting from the results of their offerings.
So we go from strength to strength. More power to us.

Early days, but this week this tactic has worked well for me: set HGB going as early as possible in the London session; use the basket manager to close all the trades at $30 profit (0.01 lots GP account) and have HGB set to stop trading for the day once this profit level is achieved.
I then close down the platform and do not allow any further trading until the next London session.
Don't know if this is a long-term winning strategy and we might still need a market-is-overextented filter; we shall see.
