HGI used with Hurst charts

Hi everyone,

This is my first post on this board and I spent the last few days studying and understanding everything. Looks quite impressive.

One thing I'm a little confused about it what the current settings of the MM line periods that you are all using. I remember that TraderJoeForex was experimenting with changing it but I can't recall seeing what the outcome of that was.

Hopefully you can let me know what you are currently using and what is working with the H1 time charts.

Hi Sean,

I have been away for a few weeks .. there was no real outcome with regards to the MM lines. I did play around much with different peroids and the fact is they all worked to some degree and I posted to say I don't feel they offer any advantage over any other SR lines or xx.00 etc.. not that they may not help either.. just depends what you are looking to achieve. Likely TP levels is what I was looking at.

I have been busy playing with some semi - automated strategies for the first time with the latest EA offerings here and this is all very promising. I have also attempted to simplfy a complete manual trading strategy to share as some had requested this .. in so doing I realized that there are so many ways to achieve essentially the same thing and so what is the easiest way to share.. and to teach.. and that is what I am still working on.

Hope everyone here has been getting on well and great to see some new contributors..

Still keeping the trade on AUD/JPY + 2 trades on AUD/USD and 1 on EU all in green thanks to hurst and hgi :hi:

Hey everyone.. thought I would check in here and link to my recent post for anyone that has wondered what I have been up to.

I have found embracing the help of HGB is more efficent than reacting to signals and so I have now moved to a semi auto strategy.

For those who were asking for a more detailed summary of how I trade I can now answer simply that HGB gets me in and technical analysis/gut feeling gets me out. Funny thing is that it was in trying to write out the steps to a successful trade that I realized the optimal part for HGB to play.

If I can figure out how to quantify the technical analysis/gut feeling bit then I will have a complete strategy to share but for now.. it's still working out as I go.

If anyone here is still laboring over getting the best entry (like I was) .. I would reccomend letting go and letting HGB get you into ALL potential entries and then concentrate on managing that trades instead. This is the fun bit and where the chess game starts.

I have a quick question I'm hoping someone can help me with. I'd like to get email alerts for Trend Arrows and Wavys. I tried to config it in the settings but I get the Range alerts too. Is anyone else having this problem too?

Hi folks, this thread is awesome!

Many thanks to nanningbob for the HGI (plus anybody else who has contributed to it's development and coding), Pedro for introducing me to the Hurst method and everybody else who has contributed to this thread.

Can anybody please tell me where to find the indicator that both maperdel and Xenn have in the top right hand corner of their charts giving all the info such as ADR, AWR, trade profit etc.
