HGI used with Hurst charts

HGI Hurst System - Pedro2

First I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the HGI Hurst thread. And a special thanks to the coders who dreamt up some amazing stuff to help traders like me to better use Hurst in trading. Not forgetting Bob and his coders who inserted the Hurst filter in the HGI indicator. Far more than I expected. Half of the indi's in my system are related to Bob and his excellent work.

In the download is the system that works for me. It has some 4h and 8h snapshots of what the screen looks like for me when trading. I tend to use 4h trading as it really cuts out bothering about the news to much. But often I wish to look at a longer time frame to see where price is heading. As you know daily is the next time frame. And that is too long for me. 8h time frame is just perfect with the HGI and Hurst on chart for me to confirm the 4h chart. It takes a lot of the noise out of the 4h chart without being insensitive like daily charts are.

In the zip file that is attached is all the indi's, templates and instructions to create 4h and 8h charts. Or for that matter any other time frame chart that takes your fancy. The indi that creates the 8h offline chart is rather neat I reckon. It does update in real time. For me anyway.

I hope that the system I use will maybe give people a few ideas for themselves? Regret I do not get on the forum much lately. So much going on around me that requires my attention. Never mind I will keep an eye on the forum when I can.

Thanks so much for sharing, I have a few questions if and when you have the time:

It seems when I open the H8 chart and attach the template the Hurst targets are the same?

Both charts are very similar and targets should be nearly the same. The basic difference is the 8h charts have less noise. This helps with decisions on the 4h charts. For me anyway. Pedro

Similar to a zig zag they indicate market reversals. The siccors indicate a partial reversal only before contiunuing in the same direction usally. Observation over a period of time tell you what they do.

Can you give us an idea how you are trading this bad boy. I didn't see anything in the zip file as to explanation unless I totally missed it. Looks like you are using some aspects of how TJ trades from his posts in this forum.

The big question I have here is what happened to the 15m system TJF was using successfully? Looks like it just fell to the wayside.

Hi Neocount,

I was hoping that someone was interested in trading the 15m, as I live in the UK I have in the past spread bet because it is Tax free, but at that time did not have confidence in any method to produce the consistant results needed to make a net 200 pips per week , which was the target I set,
I now think that with "HGI and Hurst " this could be achieved, so have downloaded on my second computer a Empty4 Demo platform that has been arranged for spreadbetting.
Once I get used to operating it, I will post any success or failures. I hope the latter using this fantastic system will be non existant, but must wait and see.
