Hi everyone,

It's taken two days to read this thread & the pdf. I've been taking notes and can't wait till Monday to try out a few things in demo.

I was one of the 100k, Alpari (UK) clients... I used to lurk here a few years back but have been hanging out in other forums since, whilst looking for a new broker over at FPA I found GP and noticed a link to here, so here I am.

Although I had my biggest draw-down in years at Alpari on the 15th of Jan (no CHF trades) it wasn't much fun watching my trades getting closed by someone else. Every cloud & all that, as if Alpari hadn't gone tits-up I wouldn't of found HGI, which looks to be a game changer. ... To use one of my favorite quotes, from my Mother, "Whenever you fall in shit, you always seem to come out smelling of roses."

HGI looks incredible! From what I've read so far.. It comes from years of hard work, dedication, tireless motivation and a stroke or two of genius.

since a couple years ago i lost the confidence in indicators, because finally u can discover that the price and its patterns are the only good tool to this job.

without hope, i downloaded this indicator and since a week im impressed.

this indicator is really good tool to all the people.

and risky.

this indicator is how give a lot of guns into a school.

the secret of good programmers and traders must to be in secret.

and u had opened Pandoraś box.

HGi its a pretty tool to combine with a sinple cci indicator and follow the trend.

it can give u the hope that u need to stay into a trade.

again, very good job to all programmers and testers.

Hey guys,

Sort of drifted away from this forum over the last year or so. Not much of a poster, more of a reader. I did follow nanningbob during his 10 series development by reading all his updates, printing out his manuals etc. I still trade a few of his concepts to this day, mainly trading the 4hr chart using the 240 LMA for trend direction and taking multiple small trades in the one direction. Works more times than not and for this I am grateful. He also helped me out privately when I got into some trading trouble with trades that got away from me.
Basically been doing my own thing recently and giving forums a miss, but then I was cleaning up my Bookmarks and realised I hadn't been here for quite a while. Doh! So after a few hours catching up with developments, I come across this HGI baby. Quick read of the PDF (very clear and concise I might add), download the indi and throw it on the charts, and I'm impressed from what i see so far. I'll have to watch it live for a few days just to see how it generates all of the signals, but all I can see is great potential. I appreciate that no indi is perfect, but if nothing else, just the wave icon showing the possible end of a trend or the start of a ranging market is more than enough for me. The rest is just icing on the cake. Great effort team and thanks for the opportunity to at least test it for a few months. It is greatly appreciated. Now I just have to read up on about 200 pages on this thread before I start asking any dumb questions. Cheers, and thanks again.

Not sure if this had to do with any news release, but this is what I have, this goes with all AUD pairs. I am wondering if anyone else got this, or did I do something wrong?

Nothing wrong, you're just a victim of a news spike.

I'm trying to dig myself out of a deep hole shorting the AUD and NZD last week, but those 2 currencies just don't want to fall, every news release has been positive and pushes them higher. Today it was the CPI - just have to hope the spike up is temporary and the AUD falls back soon.
