Can one of you who has successfully downloaded and installed V2 briefly explain how they did so please? I cannot work out how.

Steve,

Click download zip file, make a directory in C: (e.g. Scite 2), extracxt all files and folders as they are to the new folder. Tis done!

Where do I extract the Scite files for use with my code development crapform?

the binary is hosted on google drive, i guess what you are referring to is the screen that shows file content when you click it? on top of that screen there should be a download button, once you click it it'll be like downloading a file. Once you download the zip file you can extract it to the same location where old scite resides, it'll overwrite the old version (old setting will also be gone though if you made any changes)

My problem is where to put everything when I unzip it.

I can load scite and load files into it, but here is what happens when I compile:

i found out whats wrong, please save the attached file to "languages" directory under where your scite installation directory and restart scite, it should fix the problem, i'll put up a new version containing the fix real quick

You just played my fav trick - telling people I have attached a file and forgetting to attach it.

weird.. can't upload, anyway, please visit

and copy the content to overwrite "languages\mql.properties" file, it should fix the problem

new version 2.0.1 is uploaded to resolve this issue
