When a basket closure occurs, do you leave the pendings open or do you let them close?

The equity sentry ea will close all trades once % equity is reached, including the pendings also.Maximilian » Wed Apr 29, 2015 4:40 pm wrote:When a basket closure occurs, do you leave the pendings open or do you let them close?

Is it correct to say when we close the pendings, we limit ourselves also to just one basket TP per day?
:
Do you use basket jumping profit stop?
I set it at the cash equivalent of 0.5% gives a bit of security for my own risk tolerance

Hi. What SL percent are you using per basket in equity sentry when putting 1% as TP?

Hi AGT, this has been my lot size to starting capital ratio, but with 3% TP.AGT » Tue Apr 28, 2015 11:41 pm wrote:ALoveSvpreme » Wed Apr 29, 2015 12:52 am wrote:Up over 30% but currently in about 28% DD, have been periods of up to 40% Manually closing some winners and losers.
Like zennor wrote: the DD strongly depends on the relation between your starting capital, the lot size and the basket TP you use. Mine is doing great so far using the recommended 1k starting capital with 0.01 lot and 1% TP.![]()
EDIT: Just looked at your MyFxBook, with 1% TP piproid is performing beautifully.

Hi AGT. I noticed that you have lotsizes from 0.01 and up to 0.04 on your account. Are you risking more on the main trades?AGT » 29 Apr 2015, 09:41 wrote:ALoveSvpreme » Wed Apr 29, 2015 12:52 am wrote:Up over 30% but currently in about 28% DD, have been periods of up to 40% Manually closing some winners and losers.

Right man ! You observed it ! So yep I wasn't right posting about 0.01 lot per 1 k - my set up is 2% for the risk adjusted lot size - so you see different lot sizes ... :hi:

I copy here a pm I received from Zennor earlier today:
Just to let you guys know that unless he has a change of mind, Barry will not be contributing here again.

I replied to Barry thanking him for his contributions here and I know he has read my reply.Zennor wrote:Hi Steve.

I am returning to the UK next week where I will buying a canal boat as I intend to travel the canal waterways for the next 5-10 years.
I have made the decision to put my forex trading to bed permanently so that it does not interfere with my life on the cut.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and all the fine folk at SHF for all the hard work and sharing attitudes and would like to wish you all the best for the future.
Cheers
