HGI for beginners.

Question about the Wavys and Big Arrows placement on the charts. When the code put it on the chart, what point is it referenced on?

Like for example: If I change the font size for the ways/big arrows, would the side away from the price vary? Or the other way around? Or both because it's referenced off the centre? Hopefully you know what I'm trying ot ask here. If not, let me know.

It is reffered to a average distance from average H/L values, changing the size will not change the distance of arrows or wavies..

Not sure if this would be hard to program/code but would it be possible to separate the alerts for the Range Start and End Wavy's on a future release version?

I guess that's why I posted in the newbie area here.

Which one would be the "Yellow" Range Start Wavy and which one would be the "Blue" Range End Wavy in the options?

With all do respect, I have found it a little confusing that Yellow wavy should be the end of a trade when the popup reads "range start" and Blue wavy should be start of a trade when the popup reads "range end".

With all do respect, I have found it a little confusing that Yellow wavy should be the end of a trade when the popup reads "range start" and Blue wavy should be start of a trade when the popup reads "range end".

Entering in a ranging zone means that the actual trend you traded is weakening, that is why this can be used too as an exit signal..

Thanks for your response here. I guess what I was looking for was to setup an alert when I'm not in a trade on a pair and when the Buffer 8 Wavy appears on the chart.

again this alert is embedded, just activate the wavy alerts, there are different messages exactly saying what type of wavy you have, this is since 16.07 and 17.00 standart in HGI...

Hi all,

I'm new here and have read most of the manual. I plan to re-read it today. My newb question is about the template. The Object next to the labels are not updating. I tried the template on two platforms to see if it was a suffix issue, but that does not appear to be the issue.

It's probably something simple. Thanks for any help.
