AGT's EA Portfolio

A quick only response after this week.

Using the PPoS, and even the older PP, it's obviously, that this EA family is a winner. Although sometimes seriously jumping up and down the accounts are overall growing up so far lovely. BUT: we have to be patient during long lasting flat phases without any grow or slowing down of balances and/or equities using these bots.
The best EA, member of this family - the Zennor's Piproid (ZP) - was hit firstly this week after the NFP move. It could be much better, switching off the bots before the news coming out !

Lets see the next week how they all will manage the actual DDs ?

Slowly but surely I'm moving forward the optimization of the FS. However its a longer way trading the weekly TF. So far I have allowed only one basket for a week, may be I'll change this rule. All in all it looks good atm !

I have to admit, that the use of EA managers like the MPTM or the sAPBM is perhaps one key feature of my approach using this bot.

And yes ! I'm testing now the new EAs Jose released recently in his threads here in SHFX.com. They are based on the works of John Ehlers and you found Jose's creations here for free:

As Jose recommended me, I'll switch from next monday to the newest version "v3" of the "AlienForexPlayer NSNA Deluxe Edition" ! The accounts with the 4 older "single pair" EAs, you can see in the portfolio, have been a more experimental, so I'll switch them off.

Yes, that is what I think too. Especially NFP is unpredictable and wild sometimes.

Nothing special my friend !

I simply use Tommaso's order manager EA "sAPBM" as described in the FirstStrike thread.

Btw the bot hit the TP (3 % in m case) already at monday and close all the 5 platforms. So this week was done and I have to switch on the bot afresh only next sunday evening when the markets will be open again.

excuse me my friend for posting in your thread, but I think I must do it.

I am seeing your demo of AFP with 8 pairs and I wanto to tell you something in a friendly way:

1. The AFP EA was created exclusively for the EURUSD pair, running it with other pairs is a losing of time.

2. If you see the OrlandoPirate demo, that has been running for two months now, the profit has been of 28% monthly with the EURUSD, and the DD today is of only 20 USD. See the attached image:

3. Pushing an EA to its limits with other pairs is not good for anyone. It is the same with the Matilda EA, why anyone would like to run it with the EURNZD (not is your case), by example ?.

4. In this forum it has been said repeteadly that there are no "set and forget" EAs and that even the AFP EA if you run it inattendedly will crash. You must avoid the news, the elections, Draghi speeches, etc.

5. Finally I have said repeteadly that I am running live the AFP only with the EURUSD pair.

You are conducting a good work with your demos and your comments about the EAs, and I accept your opinions, but please do not push the EAs to the limits because it is not good for enyone.

I apologize, really I didn't use the AFP in a right manner. So I'll change all activities at this account like you described it ! I'm confident this account will revive soon and its best !

So actually 6 new EAs Jose coded recently are added into the portfolio:

However, you may have look into boinvest's portfolio - he has included much more of Jose's EAs posted recently.

I hope only, that at least I could be of some help. May be ...

Anyway not so much changed since my last report here in the "portfolio". The FS is doing better and better step by step. Soon this baby will replace the (further successful) PP family from the favorite's place ? Who knows ?
To evaluate the new bots Jose released recently some mor etime is needed.

No global stoploss settings in MPTM? Only ATR x3 in ZP:s settings, right?
