Boinvests EA Portfolio

Post by boinvest »

Hi Friends,

At this moment I have a bunch of ea's running.
I wanted to share my portfolio, maybe it is from value to some of you.
Currently I am in the process of giving it more structure.
Right now it includes demo and real accounts,
VPS, and laptop accounts.

Most of my accounts are public, but not all of my live accounts.

Riskmanagement
I use 2 differtent brokers (remember swissy/alpari event).
You never know when your broker, get's wiped of the globe.

I use multiple strategies (Different risks.)
"Never depend on one single source of income" - Warren Buffet

Brokers
I use 2 brokers at this moment.
IronFX
Don't rememberhow I came across them.
I just opened a smell test account a little time back.
Noticed that grid ea's are preforming very well at this broker.
Thats why I still use them.

Axiory.
It is a smaller broker also STP, I prefer to work with them.
Great contrast in my experience with GP. The support is excellent.
They are always available to answer your questions.
Have a very attractive website, trading platform.
Just love the level of support. It is run by guys from the chez.
They offer both constructions, under European regulations.
And if the profits are a bit higher, they also have a global branch to use a offshore :)

Great level of support, 2 representatives took the plane, to come to the netherlands.
We had a nice meetup at Amsterdam, really like the personal attention and support.

My demo accounts are set and forget.
Sometimes set to the extremes to test the expert advisors thoroughly.

In my live accounts I am going to take a different approach.
I will evaluate the Expert's decision.
And if I don't agree close the trades, early. :geek:

Current portfolio contains:

Live account Matilda's
Many EA's of JLGarcia, (I am a fan!)
and some commercial.
Hopfully I will have some capacity left for a demo of some more pipcruisers and derivatives.

Great buddy ! Well done ! :good:

Btw - you have even a lot of the older grid traders running Jose coded early - for instance the famous Matilda - do you run them all fully automatically in a set and forget mode ?

Yes, I run them set and forget.
With that I mean I don't interfere.
But I watch them really close.

Reason I still run them, is because they deliver some quick profits.
Although the high risk.
You did run matilda also for quite a while. ;)

In what way does this thread help anyone here?
Read the effing manual, ok?

Afterprime is the official SHF broker. Read about them at https://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=175790#p175790.

I still suffer from OCCD. Good thing, really.

Anyone here feeling generous? My paypal account is always in the market for a tiny donation. pianodoodler@hotmail.com is the account.

My special thanks to Thomas (tomele) for all the incredible work he does here.

Im sure this thread is useful for many of us, sharing results and notes about our strategies is what is helping us to grow... is it not? I'm a big fan of AGT's trading thread it keeps me up to date with whats working and gives me a chance to re evaluate my own configurations . The addition of Boinvests outlook is quite valuable and these portfolios save us precious cpu power for our own endeavours.
Thanks for putting this together & keep up the good work :good:
