Anyway not so much changed since my last report here in the "portfolio". The FS is doing better and better step by step. Soon this baby will replace the (further successful) PP family from the favorite's place ? Who knows ?
To evaluate the new bots Jose released recently some mor etime is needed.

Do you think the Zennor is stable enough for a live account, I don't mean the code, I mean the equity curve. Even PPoS hasnt been tested in a sideways market for any length of time, but it uses stops so it shouldn't die fast like the grid traders.
My PPoS has lots of orders set-up right now just ready to go! 14 pairs this week!!

Yes I got the FS (last v. "I") in the that "milanese's" thread you mebtioned above !

And what about live trading using the PP family bots ? Hmmm ... yes perhaps its possible to do, bcz of simple trading with a trend using SL, JSL + TP. But that's of course up to you.

I've been trading PP and PPoS on a live account and it's doing quite well. I have not put the Zenor H4 version on live (or demo). I know some are having great success with ZP but the H4 time frame for a trending system makes me nervous. I''m keeping an eye on the thread and the demo results.... time will tell. I also acknowledge that we are headed into the summer trading season which gets a little slower so I'm cautious about trending bots.

Yes I agree - that summer time characterized by slower price movments will be a real touchstone !! :youknow:

In the last 2 days I had in the live account and in the 3 demo accounts (ZP 4H) absolutely no pending order. First I thought that Empty4 disabled auto trading. No the reason for that was a choppy market.

So it looks like that ZP 4H stays out of the market if there is no real trend. The summer will tell us.

Starting from the next monday the only changes I made concern these bots:

SmoothOperator v1 + v2
Epsilon v7

Both showed a nasty gap between balance and equity we all dislike. Based on my experience during the last years of grid trading I had to abandon them. I never saw really long lasting success in that gap cases. Even if the EA account recovered first time (after weeks !), next time it may crash bcz of a more powerful price then ever before.
BUT Jose offered a lot of other bots providing good chances for a success !
So, I'm focused actually on the AFP family, the Greifenwalder Orlando v6 + the WITEA. These 3 EAs will start trading from next monday ! See GP 10, 22. 23, 25 + 30.

All the others: FS, ZP, PPoS and PP are up and doing the job ! The changes made concern the FS - I run only the GP 8 unchanged, on the other 4 platforms with the FS I will start testing modified settings like more trading attempts per week - atm only one trade/basket per week is allowed.

I had a job to do this morning. Updated all platforms to build 825. The morons did it again

... finger cross, lets hope the best. Usually after these updates strangest things are going on.
Anyway, so far I couldn't observe any errors in the tabs "Expert Advisors" and/or "Journal" right now after making the platforms update. Although - the markets are closed ... lets see what will happen tomorrow night.

Hello AGT,

How did you manage to force update?

Last time there was a major update, a lot of the string functions had bugs in them.
