I'm new to this forum and look forward to sharing problems and ideas with fellow developers.
I'm currently building an EA and I am at the point where I need to start thinking about security to prevent the EA from being copied and shared once it has been purchased. I believe that the current version of MQL 4 is very secure as far as being de-compiled is concerned, so my biggest concern now is how to incorporate an account checker for users of the EA which would perhaps require a username / password combination.
I would be very interested to hear of any strategies that have been used by others, and the pros and cons of such strategies, also whether I should use a third party or incorporate my own built in protection.
