hey, using firststrike version BO_I i am getting the following errors in the experts tab can anyone please advise. has also shown the same error for GBPJPY. all trading is allowed in the experts individual tab as well as the autotrade button and Empty4 options. also i had an audusd buy trade from the 3rd of june with no SL and its now about -120 pips in the hole. is it a matter of needing to load historical data?

any advice would be good thanks

You have read the error messages, or haven' you?
Non retryable error: trade is not allowed in the expert properities..., that says all, re-check the experts individual tabs.
And check your settings, as it would be possible to deactivate SL, but OOTB the EA will always use SL
The EA needs some historical data yes..

as i said in my message, i checked all the experts individual tabs, trade was enabled and dlls allowed on all of them. BUT i went into main Empty4 tools/options and in the expert advisors tab 'allow dll imports' was not checked, so have checked that now. maybe that was the culprit for some of the errors? I can't think of any other explanation

re: the audusd buy trade with no sl, that pair had the same settings as all the other pairs which did not have a problem with sl. i have restarted the demo and reloaded all the settings with historical data force loaded now and dll imports allowed from the main option so lets see what happens going forward.

EDIT: realised i was also using simpleallbasket pair manager on the demo, that might be the culprit as it has some random options like disabling EA's after basket close. this is a demo attempting to mimic AGT settings. . will load up another trade manager EA i'm more familiar with

this are no random options, if you read the first post from the SAPBTM thread you will understand it's functionality, it is a great help for using FS on more pairs, but you have to understand how the SAPBTM works...

Hi Tomasso,

Do you think backtest with tick data on this EA will help us to narrow better settings for each pair. Other wise it will take years of demo testing to get good results. The actual problem is that I can't do backtest on the weekly TF. Any ideas ?
