Last week, my PPoS demo account kicked into life well and made several hundred pips - GP demo account. Paul's stayed stum. Same broker. Paul lives about 5 miles from here. Default inputs same as mine.

Anyone else having the non-operating PPoS syndrome?

I am not having that issue - mine is setting pending orders without any issues.
What I have just found though is that I had an open trade on GN with a SL of 675 pips!
Same for NCAD - SL of 234 pips.
I am using version 1J on a live account and use ATR stops. My ATR SL is set to 1, TP to 2, BE to 0.5 and JS to 0.25.
Seems to have been working ok the last few weeks.
Back to the GN - its daily ATR is 242 so somehow my SL has been almost tripled.
Checked the EA settings and all good.

I have closed Empty4 and it 'upgraded' itself from v825 to v830 and then I closed it again and compiled PPOS under v830,
When I re-opened it closed all my open trades, I am now in the process of checking all my pending orders to ensure the SL and TP are correct.

This is just a warning for all you out there who use PPOS to check your setting are correct.

Actually, I'm noticing something similar on my GP Demo account running PPoS (Build 830).
I've noticed some other odd behavior, which forces me to restart the platform periodically. When I close the platform and restart it, all my open trades are closed.

My PipCPm on Steroids had a strange behavior during NZD cut rates last night,

I've got two platforms on 2 different servers running with the same setup,same Broker-for better comparison..
I don't trust Empty4 at all,there must be a reason if Steve use to call them Empty4..

Server 1 took the trades without slippage\skipping\requotes and banked a great profits,'cos pending orders placed against NZD before the news release have been regularly filled,

Server 2 missed 2 trades and entered short on NZDUSD only but was in late,I closed manually for a small profit on Friday.

I don't think the problem lies in the Robot anyway

RE: Server 2 missing trades, you might find that is due to the brokers daily resetting of server or terminal or whatever it is they reset.

I was watching the NZD interest rate news on my Axitrader live account, it was like it froze for a few minutes, when it started again there was 100 pip gap on NZDUSD and 300 to 400 on GBPNZD + EURNZD

The news was exactly at 5pm NY when the new Empty4 day starts.

Anyone else notice this?

I stopped it trading for the last week of the month to avoid the pattern where markets tend to reverse during the final week of said month. I will restart it at the open of the new MN1 candle on Wednesday.

The Greek thingy will do what the Greek thingy does. At the very least, we can hope for some decent volatility in the markets - and if there is one thingy that we need it is volatility.

Easy for me to talk mind, as I am not betting my pension pot on said volatility. I will repeat: anyone who does so is an idiot and will lose all their money. Only trade Forex with funds you can genuinely afford to lose.

Nope, I do not want to lose mine. Yes, I can stand the loss if it happens.

Hmm ... would it be possible to include this presumably important feature into the code ? Although: doing this by manual intervention is perhaps the better way ... not sure about usefulness of such an idea for automatisation ...

Maybe the spelling typo I spot in the relevant post listed below has caused you some confusion? Spelling typos can do that.
