Looking the the bots "WITEA" and "SFF" at the platforms GP 10, 22, 25 I have to declare bad results and, its a pity but I don't have any hope for them ....

Time to abandon these bots better sooner then later ....

So moving forward to the start of my live trading I'll focus exclusively on the optimization of the PP/PPoS EA. Perhaps I'll further give the ZP a try and yes, thirdly: have an eye on the FS. But that FS buddy is a "boring" guy, bringing gains home very slowly !

I think SFF is still a good bot, and if the drawdown could be limited by closing all trades when a specified level of drawdown is reached it's results would be awesome. I think I remember Jose posting that he was going to update some of the bots to allow them to close all open trades if the specified drawdown level is reached.
I'm going to continue my SFF test, and cut all open positions when 10% drawdown is reached on my account.

Concerning the SFF I agree with you. Yes this bot is perhaps a candidate for further tweaking showing best gains ... and who knows may be these once will survive in a longer run yet ? And it will do a great job at the end, after months and months .. So: yes bro plz continue testing and post your results regularly in one in of Jose's appropriate threads. May be you'll take us by surprise !

(For me it's simply another way/style I chose for a live trading.)

Hi people

I can confirm after 6 months of forward demo and live trading that the last two weeks of each month are generally less profitable or not profitable at all while using PP strategy. Watching the demos in the PP Forward Demos thread, I get to the same conclusion.

So far there has been only one exception so far to this rule and that was the week after the SNB fiasco, which was ironically the best week of the year so far for PP strategy. That is why I have kept PP on my live account month after month without turning it off except for exceptional circumstances, hoping for a big movement on the markets.

What’s new after this week ?
Things are chugging along. No unusual events happened.
The oldest account (=GP 14) is moving north step by step. Remember: this account took a lot of testing time with a variety of PP/PPoS versions and numerous different setfiles since nov/dec 2014 approx. ! Have now running some additional platforms with the PP slightly different to the successful GP 14 (GP 30, 31, 32 and 34)
One observation is perhaps important – the GP 3, 9, 35 and 36 – running with a basket SL aren’t doing really good, so its presumably better not to use this feature. The trades are protected from deep losses itself, bcz every single pair has its own SL. So its better to abandon the approach of basket SLs.

Made some changes in the settings for the FS. Most important: I’m back to the “only-one-basket-a-week” approach, bcz didn’t had really good results using more then one basket trade for a week.
Had to abandon WITEA + SFF.
Three new ZP v 1c are running since Monday, didn’t gave up this PP mod so far, although I’m more focussed at the original PP version for live trading.
On my VPS only PP tests using various setfiles are running since now.

Thanks for the updates AGT. I find this thread very useful.
I am using your GP14 settings on live account but with TP:5% and Risk%:1 (half of your settings, and no CHF pairs).

I wonder if you have tested ATR stoploss instead of fixed SL:100 on any of your setfiles?
Giving the higher ATR pairs more room to breath, and tighten the SL for the lower ATR pairs maybe could give an advantage.

I've been thinking about using dynamic SL too. The problem is that we can't use the same tp because you are not using the same lot size so the result will be very different if you just use an ATR SL and the same basket TP.

What can we do then? Just test new settings.

Yep ... testing the ATR calculated SL/TP/BE etc is on a while already ! Have some other platforms running - but so far I cant see any real advantage. All in all this bot is bringing week by week good gains not really strongly depending from a fine tuning of the parameters. Even the good old xfactorno settings are doing the job ...

So earn the pips and all good ....

Plz have closer look - that account was updated last time in feb ! In other words - it is switched off ! So I dont use the bot and I dont have any setfiles - but as I remember it was the original setfile Jose posted somewhere in one of his threads. I think he would help yu in any case. Plus Boinvest is using until now the matilda, so you may ask him as well.
(But why would you use a bot generating a DD of 40-50 % ? The PP I'm running now since dec 2014 has constantly a DD of 10-15 % only !! ..... but yes of course it's your choice in any case !
