Interesting, I trade Supply and Demand manually, have tried to code it but failed, hope you'll do better, I've set it on H4 demo. Great!

I'm interested to know what you think about the levels it is finding. Would you have picked the same levels?

Brian

I have set this up on H1 and there seems to be a wee anomaly.

Well, they look quite good, better than I could code, do you have checks for gaps? Couldn't find any zones showing gaps.

You missed some zones, I checked GBPUSD H4 and for example you missed a DBR at the start of june that later was revisited june 5. And also on GBPUSD the whole down trend on H4 from 25/5 down to 1/6, you have this sawtooth behaviour where you have a drop and approx 5-10 bars later a revisit, no zones there, can that be tweaked?

Also, I always look at the higher time frames when trading, eg. if my trigger TF is H4 and price is dropping into a H4 demand zone then before going long I always check D1, W and M to make sure I'm not trading long into a HTF supply zone. That has bit me a couple of times already. Check the H4 trend with the higher timeframes, do they match up? Do you really want to go long H4 when the D1 or W are trending down? Better to wait until you reach a strong D1/W supply zone and go short instead of taking a counter trend trade. Won't be as many trades but I want to have as many odds as possible stacked in my favor before pulling the trigger.

That code seems to be left over from a previous EA. Sorry for the confusion but THANKS for pointing it out. All help is welcomed to quickly bring this EA around. I'll figure out what needs to show on the dashboard, Any suggestions? I personally don't think we need much other than an indication of any errors and a confirmation that the EA is working. In other words, info on the actual EA and not each pair. Thoughts?

You can play around with the bar settings, maybe try using the 1.02 iZones (not the EA)
See what different zones are shown.

As for gap zones, the code isn;t really looking for that. I guess I should explain how this thing finds the zones? Then we can discuss how that should be done. When I started out I wanted to "score" the zones.

I agree on your higher time frame approach. I was thinking of showing one higher timeframe zones in grey colour, might be some heavy lifting for the coding though, thoughts? The alternative is to just switch TF on the chart if you use this manually. How should the EA do this?

The great part about having a defined stop loss that makes sense (not just an arbitrary number) is that you can better understand what your win/loss needs to be to be profitable.

If you set this up to target 2:1 you only need to hit your target 33% of the time to come out ahead.
I've set up my test to run at 3:1, but this is just to get the EA to work, although it will be interesting to see what happens, especially on the 15M (which I won't use live).

Remember - the EA is very early in the coding test cycle. And thanks for your input thus far.
