I am afraid that cannot be the case if you are talking about HGB, there is a routine that looks at your account history to check whether it can trade again, as far as I know this was there from the start. Of course if you show all history again, then the EA will look at this data and return the same conclusion and that is, you have already made your profit on that pair.

I hear what you're saying, but I've run HGB since the day it was released with my full account history open and this just started happening about 2 weeks ago when I started using the new version of HGI with the new expiration date. How those two things go together and produce this result, I don't know.

Been testing the following input but getting no trades.
I am trying to have HGB trade 15min with the stochastic set to TF 60min. Above the 70 level HGB i would like to only trade buy signals and sell for below 30. In the parameter for highest Time frame I am putting 60min and medium time frame i inputting 15 Min.No Tades. When i put 15min for highest time frame and 15min for medium it trades but it does not filter the trades based on the stoch's setting. Am i correcting in assuming the stochastic is suppose to be able filter signals as stated above? If yes, please help with setting to input . Setfile would be nice

Andy, I have read your post about 15 times (yes guys, nothing much else to do and bored) and still cannot understand it.

There comes a point when a bot will break if you try hard enough to break it. Go for extremes of behaviour long enough and the bot will fail to respond. HGB is a bit of software written for Empty4. It cannot run a nuclear power station. It could not have piloted that probe to Pluto. It cannot tell you what existed in the Googol squared of years before the Big Bang. If indeed they did actually exist at a time when time was not supposed to exist and so nothing else could exist either. Including nothing. How can 'nothing' exist when nothing can exist?

When you get no trades, it is because you are setting up conditions that do not allow trading. Try different conditions instead of Life is much less painful that way.

It's a bit hard to decipher what you exactly mean, but if you read the User Guide you will find this:

◦ Higher time frame inputs: these allow you to take signals on your trading time frame that are in the same direction as those on a higher time frame:
▪ HighestTimeFrame: a zero value turns this filter off. Set this to the numerical value of a high time frame (D1 = 1440). HGB will then only allow trades if it finds a large green or red arrow on one of the recent candles.
▪ HighestCandlesLookBack: how far back in time to look back for a large arrow.

◦ Medium time frame:
▪ MediumTimeFrame: a zero value turns this filter off. Set this to the numerical value of a medium time frame (H4 = 240) to tell HGB to trade only in the direction of a Trend, RAD or Wavy line on the current candle, or the previous one if EveryTickMode is 'false'.

This is only related to the HGI signals and has nothing to do with the Stoch filter. The Stoch filter only prevents the EA from opening buys in overbought conditions and opening sells in oversold conditions.

Thanks just have to put 0in the medium and highest. Unfortunately the user guide does not mention how the stochs works as a filter

Attached is pictorial form of what i tried to explain.) 15 min chart with HGI and 60MTF stoch shown as indicator window at bottom. First Green uptrend shown with yellow lines pointing it to the area in which the stoch is in. Stochs filters a buy attempt by HGB because it is not above 60.
Next HGI signals a green up trend. A brown line has been drawn from the green uptrend and the area in which the stochs is in. HGB can now allow the buy execution. No sell executions to be allowed when the stochs is above 60 only buys and in the same way no buys to be allowed in the area below 40. Intraday traders and breakout traders would be interested to know my reasoning. 60min stoch of 16-2-2. Area between 40and 60 represents the noise.buyers wrestling sellers.No trades to be allowed in that area. When buyers (big boys)take it above 60 and thereafter a green trend appears,there is high probability they have won. The same for sellers on the 40 and below. 60min was chosen because i keep reading and hearing that is what the big boys(hedge funds) use to enter the market. I saw the stoch parameter in HGB and hoped that this is what it tries to do. Maybe as steve has said.This is overkill. Not forgetting to mention HGB and HGI are master pieces thank you for making it available free.

using v 1k on daily charts and everytime EA takes a trade, it removes itself from the chart. All other currencies with EA stay on charts, but once trade is taken, it disappears from that chart.

Anyone else encounter this issue?

I noticed the same. I thought at first that it had something to do with the multitrades, because I was using 10 multitrades. I removed the multitrades completely and it looked fine, but after your post I checked and I saw that the ea was gone at two pairs, while it was still active on others. Don't know what the reason could be. I didn't encounter this issue while I was trading on the 15m timeframe, it looks like it occurs only on the daily timeframe.

Same here, but I don't think that was because of daily tf, this also occured on 4H tf. Most likely it affected by the lastest Crapquotes, so better check or modify the original EA&indi files.

Still experiencing this issue on Daily TF - anyone been able to engineer a solution? I've only managed to be profitable on daily TF so would like to fix this but have zero technical/coding skills.
