Hey guys, first off I'd like to thank Slowkey for his work on this piece of art and wish him lots of strength to deal with his loss and health issues. I'm sure everything will turn out ok!

As I've been having great wins with my intraday trading setup, I'd like to share it with you here and could appreciate any sort of input.

I'm using the following setup:

Gann Ribbons + HGI + Camarilla pivots:

You can also see the trade I'm currently in; TP is H3 Cam pivot and SL is L3 Cam pivot. The ribbons bounced price into "Sky" — HGI trend wave + nice volume up gave me confidence to take the trade. Looking to grab some 40 pips.

Just jumped into this short on the EURJPY: SL is just above the highest fractal and TP1 is L4 Cam pivot. Maybe it'll even reach as far as L5. We'll see.

Yes I think that if you look at HGI a little differently on the 15 minute and reinterpret what you need from it as far as a signal it might be quite helpful but I need to trade it this way to be certain. So using HGI on the 15 minute utilizing the Hurst filter which gives a more solid rad signal for a small time period I applied HGI to a 15 minute chart. I also used the MTF hurst with Fibonacci indicator set to the 4 hour for help with range. So if I were to think of the trend signals not as triggers but just as affirmation of direction than layering trades based on SSG every 25 or 50 pips based on pair volatility (which the SSG visualizes for you) can give you a grasp of a way of trading that takes the emphasis off of trigger. This might be a way of trading using HGI on the 15 minute. The real gift of HGI is the Wavy indicators which can give some certainty on direction change and works nicely with the ribbons. Using HGI not as an end in itself but in conjunction with volume and ribbons may be a nice way to trade intraday. I think the key is in layering in pending trades and being aware of news. I think its biggest contribution to the 15 minute may be the wavy lines in conjunction with ribbons. As a stand alone system on the 15 minutes I agree with those that say it is a 4 hour system but taking some of the elements and combining them with ribbons and the superb volume indicator can be a way to layer in trades base on direction and ribbon theory.

However this would not be HGI proper but a reinterpretation of its usefulness for the 15 minute time period. The wavy lines are the real gift if they are as timely as they appear in real time. Actually that would be almost enough. I think I am convinced that how you set up trades is more important than the trigger. If you have a direction layering them in every so many pips will make you pips. In horse racing knowing what bets to make and utilize is as important as knowing what horse to pick. I think Bob has proved this from the way he layers in his trades.

I've updated to HGI 17 with the Hurst filters and I see what you mean. *double thumbs up*

As for my EURJPY trade I took this morning, it's still going. Going for 137.979.

My EURJPY didn't hit TP but I still got out with 10 pips in my pocket.

Today's trades consist of 2 Londen Open Breakout trades and a regular breakout trade.

Normally I stop when I have 3 wins or 2 losses but here's another one just because I felt like it.

First day of the week and we've bagged 98.9 already. Not too shabby!

Starting a year and a half ago beginning with a respiratory illness my health has never seemed as good as before that illness. I have been a cancer patient for over 14 years now and have done quite well after treatment early on with a miracle drug called Rituxan. It is a Blood and lymphatic system cancer and a rare one called Waldenstroms Macroglobulemia or Lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma. My numbers have been pretty good since around 2005. So I am happy that I have had a long run. I hope to get back to trading in 2016 but to be honest I just have not felt very well this last year. So I see my doctor at the end of this month to reassess. My numbers are still pretty good but some of my test show some changes.

So I hope to get back to trading some but I sort of feel in slow motion with everything taking longer to accomplish. But goals are important.

I wish everyone a Happy Holiday Season and a Happy New Year.

Life is short and we should all savor every single moment.
