It turns out that pipsalon is merely a dimwit.

Tommaso and I are close friends and communicate via pm every evening. Part of his PM to me tonight included this:

and just me came in the mind pipsalon, he was unfortunately not joking with his comment ( that was why I deleted his answer to René)

I do not know what his answer to Rene was because Tommaso deleted it, but my understanding is that it was something idiotic, or Tommaso would not have deleted it. It looks as though my assuming that Pipsalon's post was joking was a mistake.

Pipsalon, you are a cretin of monumental proportions. You lack the intelligence to even come close to trading Forex profitably. Try to do so and you will lose all your money. Find a way to lose your cash more slowly - try gambling on the horses and you might even have some fun. Trade Forex and all that awaits you is pain and misery.

Ok dimwit, so here are your choices from here.

Stay quiet, and I will forget about you.

'Contribute' again. One of two things will happen depending on my mood. Good mood: you get added to the On Moderation group who can do bugger-all here. Bad mood: I delete your registration.

There is an update to mptm in post 1.

Adding mptm to my Wide Range Body Holy Graily Bob demo highlighted a fault in the mptm function that calculates the pips upl of individual trades; this caused the calculated profit to be wrong by a factor of 10. This showed up when I enabled GlobalOrderClosureEnabled (coders, the function is double CalculatePipsProfit(), which was left behind during the transition to using Pipfactor).

Hi Steve,

It would be great to add features like disable experts after close, disable experts after X closes, do use reactivate experts after close and reactivate experts after x minutes from the attached version. This will allow the running EA to deactivate upon achieving target.

Hi! First I would like to thank you for this EA that is helpful to deal with risk.

Also, I would like to know if MPTM or MPBM is able to do so because for now I did not find.
I think it is a very good safety measure...

- scan all the account and consider as a basket all trades on same pairs

Example : if you have 4 trades eurusd and 5 trades gbpusd then we have 2 baskets, basket #1 with 4 eurusd trades, and basket #2 with 5 gbpusd trades

Then I tell MPTM/MPBM I want a max loss of 1000 usd per basket.

And here, MPTM/MPBM calculates at witch point if the prices moves, my -1000 will be hit, and put HARD SL here.

If trades are added or removed, it adjusts the HARD SL.

Thank you I hope I explained it well. Otherwise I will try to get it coded but not easy to explain !

PS : just to be clear HARD SL is SL sent to broker.

MPTM and Baluda's MPBM do what they are designed to do. Not a clue whether they do what you want them to do. Nor do I care. Working that out is up to you.

I expect users of MPTM to work stuff out for yourselves. MPTM and Baluda's MPBM are two different managers, so ask Paul for information about MPBM.

Do not post your request for information here again. You will not enjoy my response.

I use MPTM since some time, it is excellent. Please permit me to ask if you like to add some feature. In my experience a simple trailing stop with fixed pips is not very effective. Could it be modified on actual atr range price movements. Please see my post on FF here
