FTLR EA Question

Can someone please suggest best TF and settings for this EA and if you are trading it live? Thanks in advance!

I probably have 10 or 15 copies of FTLR posted on this thread most with statements....Very easy to find if you use the paper clip up in the right hand corner.....

Hi This is the version I am using live OOTB 1H, on GJ,GU,EG,EU,UJ AND AJ. Does not work well on CHF pairs.

Have been using it on these settings for approx 9 months. Trades 0 to 4 times per day and has never had a losing week to date. Hope this is of help.

Thanks for the info. May I ask does broker make a different? ie enc? 4digit or 5digit broker?

Last week I placed this bot on FinFx Enc broker and it didn't trade at all so this week I placed it on fxdd non enc 5 digit broker and it traded only once for 6pips. Is that correct? You can see my stats here http://www.myfxbook.com/members/BullRun ... yan/200846

I run this on 2 brokers, Alpari UK and Cowboy Go Markets, both are 5 digit, but Cowboy Go Markets are ecn.

Last week I also had no trades on either broker, but this week I have had a total of 4 trades so far,
2 on AJ on the 28th +5.3 & +5.1 pips plus 2 trades on GJ which ran almost simultaneously on the 28th -43.3 & +43.3 pips, thus giving a total for the week to date of +10.4 pips. I obtained identical results off both brokers this week, but that does not always happen, although overall results are usually similar.

The version you posted appears to flood the logs with the following

2011.12.01 05:17:59 Steve%2520Hopwood%2527s%2520Fib%2520Target-level%2520retracement%2520auto-trader EURUSDfo,H1: EURUSDfo OP_SELLSTOP Fib level rejection order send failed with error(130): invalid stops

Do you find this to be the case with yours as well? Is there another version where this issue is fixed by Steve, or that ecn code was added?

Yes, I do get this problem occasionally and I tend to ignore it as it does not appear to inhibit the operation of the EA. There are a number of versions of this EA, but this is the only one that I get consistently good results with a minimum of drawdown.

ok, will let it run and see how it goes. I have it all on the pairs you do plus a few more, and have only had a single trade on eu in the last 24hrs. hopefully it'll pick up with some more trading soon so I can make sure its functioning correctly on this broker.
