I think, it's time to abandon the bots of the "NewAlienForexRatPack" series v4. For me they aren't favorites any more.
The same perhaps is true for two SAK's and the LBC v1.
I wouldn't say these bots are bad or so ... never ever. May be in a longer run they could show their advantages ... who knows. May be some one else here will test them and get good results.

I cant test them all. Must focuse on my favorite EAs .... and come to an end of all the testing provided now during almost 3 years !

If you don't mind my asking, why are you ending your testing? I have found it very informative and I appreciate your efforts.

Thanks for all the work you have put in testing so many variations of these bots over the years. I have learned from watching you structure your tests, not just the results themselves, but the methodology.

PcPM, the original of PPoS, is good when markets trend but poor when they do not (most of the time) - looks like the same is true of PPoS but I know some people are live with PPoS - you and Steve to name two. Perhaps the trick is to use the basket targets - smaller so more likely to be hit combined with fixed SL to limit risk.

I will revisit PPoS with this in mind.

Once again thanks for your efforts over the years. I suppose it is sad that after all the tests you have undertaken, only one bot will go live. Just shows how much dedication and testing is required to find that one gem.

However if we have only one working EA, being succesful in a longer run - it's absolutely enough ... and it was worth testing hundreds of bots during years.

Mr. AGT. Your efforts are outstanding. I go to your MyFxBook sometimes to look through both the current and archive systems, this is still valuable information. Who will fill the big shoes you leave behind?

I would be very interested to follow your progress with live trading the bots you have decided to move forward with, although I realize this is personal. Would at least be interested in knowing the EA's you are going live with (did you mention this a few posts ago...).

I'm running PP live but shut it off since mid August and have only run it for one week since, will be starting it up again soon.

Excellent work ... I see some Bots here I have developed and helped and as Gary said earlier where bots become forgotten but in the long term perform we should perhaps go back and question why we stopped focusing on it-

This really highlights a habit many traders and coders have where we "move onto the next thing" without necessarily giving the system/bot a chance. If we are after long term profitability and low DD as an alternative to the ripoff banks (plus have a bit of intellectual stimulation and fun on the way) then we must look at hard results such as these.

AGT, thanks for all your testing. I advice you to focus also on Eurospeedway. I hope you have your copy of EuroSpeedWay Lite v2. Consider for yourself a new test with the v2. I now run 2 demo's of it with good results. That means there is a BE gap, BUT equity stays above starting capital and equity is growing. So far for me this one is the best JGarcia has made, in my opinion v2 is better than v3 and v4.

Today I closed all PP/PPoS trades manually, bcz I dont like risks of the WE gaps.
Got some nice green pips.
I usually close all trades at friday being in plus, waiting for another chance of 10% basket TP at the next trading week. The main point is simply: a strong trend after a clear breakout is needed to perform that damn basket ! The last time these strong BO's didn't occur .. unfortunately !

I have an important information for all trader fellows planning live trading with PP/PPoS. Two traders here (Stefan61200 + niepce) wrote me a PN describing independently a serious difference between demo and live accounts even using GP. That means the results are completly different. They both could resolve this prob successful using a trade copier !
So take this significient fact into account in case of live trading.

I have almost no hope for the two ESW bots (v4 + v3) - they both show a serious BEG ! Especially the last v4 is nearly flat. The v3 is a bit better, but it seems only v2 is raising hope of success ! However only a longer run will produce evidence. All ESW v2 I started have been going well firstly, but it seems during the weeks going ahead they develop BEGs as well, sooner or later ?

However ... not sure about the possibilities of this ESW v2, lets what will happen the next weeks ....

Hmm ... perhaps it's time to jump into testing the "Goosey" bot ....
