I am asking you guys not to discuss JL's enforced leaving here any further. I am desperately sorry that it has happened.

I have a vision for SHF that moderators buy into and support. It is no coincidence that trolls do not post, or that major rows do not occur, or that high-quality posters are not chased off by demented dimwits. Me and my mods stop this from happening.

This is great for individuals until they want to cross the very line that protects them. They do not tend to react well when they find that the rules that protected them when it suited them to be protected, are invoked against them when they break said rules.

To be honest, JL broke them a long time ago. I showed weakness in dealing with him because he was such a highly valued member here. I should have dealt more firmly with him a long time ago. I did not. Mea culpa.

JL is not banned. He is moved to the group here who can do nothing without a Moderator's approval. I have changed his username to emphasise to JL that this is my forum and not his. Will I welcome him back should he chose to grow up and behave like an adult? Yes. Do I believe for an instant that this will happen? Dream on.

This forum will be 4 years old in a couple of weeks or so. 4 years is like a prehistoric period in Forex terms. People like JL come and fire briefly, then disappear. There are contributors here whose work is standing the test of time, and I draw members' attention to them every week in my wrup. The rest get forgotten.

Whether JL becomes one of the forgotten ones here is down to you lot. You will either make his EA's succeed or you will not. Whatever JL's faults, he did provide these, so try them out. If they work, great. If not, then please quietly abandon this thread and let it fall into obscurity.

So please move on with discussing the EA's and not the politics.

Yes ,we have enough politics in our life!
May I ask members who have been testing this for much longer time than me , what is the best manual intervention you can do with this EA , I tend to close many profitable positions manually ( still not trusting this bot

) the draw down do tend to rise during Sydney / Asia , back under 6% during London & US sessions

Yes , I meant the "DUCK"

I am experimenting this since yesterday on a demo , and wanted to ask other thread members if they are doing any thing manually to the EA , and what is their observations .

So far , It's an okay EA , but would love to see when do you actually stop trading , you will always have DD and you will be dragging it forever.

I am planning to give it a go with a USD 2000 acct , fix spread in HF broker only after being convinced with all aspects of the auto trader.

Yep I agree - that DD created by the bot wont disappear continuing trading with the EA. It seems to me the best would be closing it after being in "good" wins and restart it immediately. So the account could grow in waves.

Hmm - dunno. Atm I think its completly up to the trader himself. Maybe I'll follow a rule like this: if the distance between the highest open buy and the lowest open sell is more then approx. 200 pips - it's time to go out - of course being in green ! But to make any decision someone must analyze both the chart with trades + perhaps the balance/equity curves in MFXB.

Hi,

I am posting here a link to my real account trading the Forex Duck (0.01 lots for every 2.000 euros), not manual intervention.

The difference with the version 3 is that I have added an stochastic filter.
