Hi Milanese, thanks for a great trade manager and all your awesome work here. A great fan, I am.

I would like to ask you a qn, if u dont mind, about APTM. I have a personalised EA that Steve created for me. I use it to enter trades and Steve had added a plethora of trade mgmt tools, but as u know with human beings, its never enough, He he.. I came across your trailing stop using Moving Averages and it looks wonderful on paper. Can APTM take over the trade mgmt only after my EA enters a trade and hits BE? I can set my EA to do nothing after BE by setting up a hard TP far away.

The qn is, can APTM ignore open trades until the trade hits BE and then take over with its MA trailing SL ? I can go around this by using fixed lots on my EA and switching off the trade mgmt settings in my EA but unfortunately, i use ATRs to calculate my SL and thus my lots sizes.Furthermore, the intitial SL set using a MA varies too much with volatility, and thus u are not able to control your risk.

This is not a request to change or add in new setting, God forbid. I read thru the entire thread last night and I am amazed with how accomodating you are. I just want to know if i can do this with the current APTM settings. Thank you for your time.

unfortunately the existing version is not able to do this.

Hi,

I wonder if there is any hedge settings in your's Milanese, i downloaded ur's and Steve's, in Steve i can find the hedge settings which i like, but then again he is missing the APTM/ATR, are you planing on adding hedge function into your's?

I moved your post here to the APTM thread..
No the APTM has no hedging functions so far implanted. So far was there no request for this at least no big request..

And thanks for moving it to the right thread, there is 2 MPTM it's yours and there is Steve's, would be good if you 2 would have compared notes and put together 1 MPTM(maybe hard) but i think both are good, but i also fell what in the other lacks in the other and vice versa, would have been nice 2 have one solid
