OK see if I can load a pick

Eur/usd. I am looking for a rally in the DT so I can re enter the trend
1. I will look for price to move back above the MA lines
2. I will look for price to bounce back up to the weekly or even break it.
3. Then I will look to get in from one of those two positions.
4. If neither of these happen I can look to see if it breaks the previous swing low. However that trade will have a short leash because I dont want to get whiplashed. See 2nd pic blue line

Checked my charts when I got home from work (just before London open), set mptm to BE @ 25 pips and global closure 400 pips.
All trades closed for +409 pips (after about 4 hrs)...trades are probably still running, but it's time for bed for me and I can't watch trades overnight, so happy to lock in 400 pips.

This is the 3 out of 4 days trading that I have closed out for 400+ pips and I cherry picked Friday's trades for about 160 pips, for a total 1378 pips since I started trading on 8th May

I have never tried using global closure, is that where you set pips and all orders are closed when a set number of pips on all trades are closed??

Here is one I am waiting for on demo. D1 is sell and hold, H4 is sell only. I want a move into then back out of, the moving averages. Even better would be a retrace to the pivot then a bounce back.

I took a sell on this pair but so far it has gone no where. I entered after it broke the 1.0000 price.

That's right Bob...down the bottom half of mptm is the global closure settings.
I have set it to close all trades when the total combined pip value is +400 - I do also have BE set for 25 pips as well, just in case price retreats on me.

I've noticed that (for me) the pullbacks seem to be occurring during the Aus/Asian sessions, and then everything gets moving again just after London open. I have been taking my trades (I'm only taking the high probability trades, so that's basically anything on the Daily charts that are showing +/- 0.8) and setting up mptm with the above settings.

I've done this 3 days now and all 3 days, mptm has closed for over 400 pips (not sure if that's beginner's luck or not)...last night I know I left some pips on the table, but I'm hoping there's more there for me tonight.
It's too hard for me to manage trade closures overnight, so mptm helps me with that.

Shelley, I don't know if this helps, but I found this in one of Bob's posts and copied it to the end of the auto-trader as a comment so I would not lose it - in case I decide to use it further down the line.

I found this out. The best time to TP was 2-3 hours into the jpy session. 1-2 hours before the usd session,
3-4 hours into the usd session and then if there is anything left a couple of hours before the jpy session.
These seem to be the peak times for price movement and then afterwards a holding pattern or retracement."


I mention it in case it helps with your timing thingy.

3-4 hours into the usd session = London/Europe knocking-off time.

I am in this one too. At the time of writing, +87, with +10 locked in.

D1 Slope is sell and hold, so I am leaving the trade open to see what happens.
