Do I have to close the trades manually? KISS doesn't set SL or TP.
Hi Vincent,

try this enhanced version in the 1H timeframe.

Thanks again José! Is KISS v3 the same as v2 only with TP/SL? Because v2 is doing really good at the moment.

@mackaozy: Did you close the KISS v2 trades manually?

Hi Vincent

No I haven't touched it. I just let it rip on auto.

My settings are:

No CHF pairs
0.1 for £10000
Max margin for new series 1000%
Min margin 800%
Correlation set to false.

I don't understand why my KISS v2 isn't closing any trades. I had +700pips floating with one pair being +400 but nothing was closed.

Edit: Just played a bit with the settings. I guess my Lot/StartCapital/ProfitPercentage wasn't right.

Hi,

I think there is a little confusion here.

Let's see:

Forex Kiss v2 is the mix of Market Spread Taker (Pablo's first EA from "Hello from Chile" thread) and the Forex Duck.

I thought that the mix was so unpleasant that I only left the 1% profit as the only exit possible.

But as there are some people decided to experiment, here there is the same version with the stop loss and take profit added.

For parameters, timeframe and results, here the experts are Mackaozy and VincentVega.

Regards

José,

Are you sure if the correlation filter is working as intended for the Duck v5 (and v3, v9(a) etc)?

In my accounts I see correlating pairs (like GBPUSD and GBPJPY, AUDCHF and AUDJPY etc) that have a correlation of >80% (on H4, D1 and W1). Shouldn't these be "filtered" out by the correlation filter?
From my understanding, the correlation filter should work like:
- open new trade? check correlation against open positions and don't open if correlating > value (usually 80%) with any of the open trades

Maybe I got something wrong here, but if you find a spare minute and look into this, I'd appreciate.

Cheers,
Andy

Hi,

I like to be sincere, and for that I must say that I did not like the results with the Forex Duck. My comments are:

- the strategy using only pairs with positive swaps failed. Will be better to use pairs with less spread and trade in both directions.

- the strategy behind the EA was to wait for a retracement and enter when a certain number of bars are in the same direction. But when there are news it is very difficult to know the final direction of the prices.

- As I said before the Duck was based only in price action, not indicators. It is possible to trade only with price action, but the EA must be much more sophisticated and do not trade 24 hours, but must be more selective.

- In another live account I was trading the MSC-Casablanca, that it is a classic and more conservative (uses the HGI indicator 4H, Stochastic and RSI) and the results were better.

Hi Jose

Thats a shame about the duck. I'll continue testing though... It may be viable if the money management is changed to something like 0.01 per 5000?

Where can I find MSC-Casablanca?

Thanks

Steve
