After 1 year running the PP/PPoS I decided to switch this bot and moved it into the archiv "TGT_FX2".

I think it's definitly possible to win using this EA - but you have to use it for months, many months !

Long lasting flat and loosing periods will alternate with strong mooves resulting in good + quick gains. The prob is - someone must be able to sit out these boring periods without any winning baskets.

I'm not patient enough - so I won't use it live atm !

I selected some of the bots Jose released recently and included them into the "portfolio". It seems to me these selected EAs are described as successful stategies here in Jose threads by some trader fellows and well documented with MFXB links. Let's see how they will manage the main (in my eyes) prob: DD's + BEG's.

This is how longterm profit is made with automated trading

It was by far the most sound robot in our portfolio, maybe you should reconsider your decision.

Hi AGT.
I don´t think you will ever get your hands on a better EA than PPoS. I have run PPoS on three live accounts since January and you can see my results below. Remember forex trading should be boring

I am using half your risk compared to your GP14 account and is currently in a 6% drawdown, which is ok with me.

Your GP14 has run since October 2014 and looks like this:

Hi qvintus !

Could you plz enlighten us a bit more about your approach using the PP/PPoS ? Do you use the basket closing with MPTM or sAPBM ?
The best would be, of course, having your detailed instruments attached (EAs, setfiles etc.).

Btw - I won't say, that I abandoned the PPoS ! The only point is: testing is stoped bcz of a clear picture now, yes, this bot is ready for use at live accounts !

I do not use a trade copier. Everything is installed on live trading platform.
From the beginning I was using the "xfactornos" settings, easy to find here with a search.

I am lately using your GP14 settings, but half the risk. 1% risk per trade and TP basket of 5%. I do not trade any CHF pairs live. Only main trades. I am using EquitySentry for the basket TP (5%). It is a free simple trademanager. ES also closes the pending trades when reaching a TP basket.
You can find EquitySentry here on the forum with a search.

I am planning to setup some demos with Stochastics, TMA-RSI and the CSS filter enabled just to see the difference in results. But I need some ideas for starting input settings.

May i ask what is your average monthly return with those settings, and what is you maximum drawdown?

The current drawdown around 6% is the highest. But from the beginning i used much less risk. That's why the dd before is lower.

Monthly gain with 1% risk is around 4%
