Hi peeps ! :hi:

Ok, so here is some analysis again:
To say it at once: The bots of the FOREX KISS do the best job for now – by a long shot ! Although the best of them, the v3, is a bit in trouble now: it earned amazing 8000 pips in 3 weeks ! It’s a more aggressive trader – so it’s more risky as well. All in all these “FK” bots are most intriguing ! For instance: they show a sharp ratio more then “1” – that’s important and I never saw that trading a bot during the last years !
The ESW v3 can struggle with the jumping market and withstand all the storms since August ! Although atm it looks only mediocre I have some hope for closing the BEG. Looks like a stable EA that needs many months for having success at the end ! Bcz the v4 of this bot looks noticeably inferior in comparison to the v3 I’ll abandon it and move it into the archive.
I like the quiet CableRider, a bot boinvest is using successfully since May ! Let’s see what this funny little will bring us.
The two tested bots: Zennor Dream and CF-TOR (except luke1711) don’t look very promising so far in my accounts and in the accounts of other trader fellows here as well. Don’t have much hope for them … but who knows may be I’m not right ?
ATM we do not have a clear picture for these 4 EAs:
MultiSystemForex v18
FractalForexGamer
Forex Duck OC H4 v4+ALR
EPL v2c + ALR

Totally agree with you. Kiss V3 is the best so far, as I have identified as well. We should focus on this, working out these:
1. which pairs are performed the best. Obviously, GBPJPY, AUDZND are excluded.
2. what time use it? when start, when finish? Like Friday, News time etc.
3. To avoid long term DD, what is the frequency of closing all trades. Otherwise, it will lead to a great DD for the long run. How long should be reasonable?

Does V3 has expiration? I know V3+ALR has.

totally agree, especially point #3, frequency of closing trades. it is unfair to expect even a good EA like KISS to nail it 100% of the time, so a regular closure of trades will prevent DD

for an example im trading a grid system from another forum and all trades are closed out with every $50 equity increase (it has a 0.01 lot start size - and not necessarily suggesting the same amount for KISS) and it never goes into a deep / extended period of DD

Analysing all the accounts JRforex collected it seems to me that we have 3 groups:

1. Working best for nearly all trader fellows: "FOREX KISS"

(3 stars !)

2. Mixed category - working in some cases only: Forex Duck, Forex Black Friday, EPL, CableRider; however it's worth to watch these bots/accounts further

3. Unfortunately poor results, at least for now ... Zennor Dream, ESW (only the ESW lite v2 Premium is doing a good job), CF-TOR-1150, Swiss Army Knife :youknow:

Hi, AGT. I have analyzized your kiss v3 version. "FOREX KISS v 3 H4 GP 33" . Does it differ to another v3 on H1? If then, where is the download link? I found Kiss v3 H1, met a big dropdown during last night euro news event. How did your V3 keep such a low DD and avoid it? Can you share me with EA and settings. I have put it on my real accout(H1). I will share some experience with you guys as well. Like moneyh management, settings, risk control etc.

We can find it without long term, big loss pips trades stay. And good control during Thursday nightmare while other EA got big drop down.

It seems this EA was running with human intervetation. Or version 2A has news time filter?

Can confirm fiox ! The FK v3 is an extraordinary EA, much more busy then its parents v2/v2a ... and perhaps more risky. At the end v3 trading results in impressive gains + so far the DD is pretty reasonable, I would say ideal !
So far I never touched my FK accounts - neither the v3 nor the v2/v2a ....

(P.S.: I see it right now only: even the "grandfather" FK v1 is on the right track and moving ahead !

I had to abandon the following 4 EAs (they are documented now in the archive TGT_FX2):

Zennor Dream v3
FOREX DUCK OC v4 ALR
FFG v1
CF-TOR-1150

Why ?
The reason is simple:

1. I'm focusing more and more on the FK v3 (or even the v2a) - the whole FK family is doing a great job !

2. The other bots I abandoned look less promising atm - but they are not loosers ! Maybe even in a forthcoming changed market situation they will do their best !

3. A small retail trader like me can use only one or two EAs on 3-4 accounts with 2-3 brokers !
4. It's great to have the thread JRforex created for comparison of other traders test results. He collected a lot of them ! (http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... =36&t=4512)

Hi AGT :hi:

I have the same question as tomgu, how did you change your settings for Kiss V3 to make it on H4 timeframe instead of H1, or dyou have a different version of the EA customized for H4.
